How The Rock got injured at WrestleMania

According to reports, The Rock suffered a hernia, in addition to the the torn adductor and torn abdominal muscle during his WrestleMania 29 loss against John Cena. It’s believed the initial injury happened when he took the blow from the first Attitude Adjustment from Cena.

The Rock continued to wrestle, carrying the injury and word is that the muscles continued to tear from his pelvis. By the time the match was over, both his abdominal and adductor muscle had torn completely off the pelvis.

The officials were not made aware that he flew home to Miami, until he had informed them he wouldn’t be arriving at the RAW taping until around 3:00 p.m. on Monday. It was later determined he wouldn’t make it and the RAW schedule had to be changed. There were concerns about the injury, given his upcoming Hollywood schedule and whether or not it would prevent him from wanting to get back in the ring for the company.
