26-year-old WWE Superstar can face Roman Reigns, says Nick Aldis (Exclusive)

Nick Aldis has made a bold statement regarding a young WWE Superstar, claiming that he is good enough to go up against Roman Reigns someday.

Unsurprisingly Aldis was talking about Bron Breakker. Despite being only 26 years old, Breakker has already made a name for himself in NXT and has been swiftly moved to the main roster. He was recently drafted to RAW from SmackDown, where he is gearing to showcase his incredible speed coupled with his brute strength.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Aldis was asked about Breakker's potential future opponents. The SmackDown General Manager's swift response was "Roman" while admitting the rising star wasn't ready for such a huge challenge just yet.

"Down the road? Roman. Down the road. But we are not there yet, and that's absolutely fine. But listen, he has got to, just because I believe in him, you know. Obviously the company believes in him, the people believe in him, he still has to make his way through this roster. And again like I said we were talking about like, world-class, maybe the best roster ever assembled. I might be a little partisan to WWE in 2002, cause when you look at that I mean that's like an all-star... I don't know if we will ever repeat that level of depth of talent and star power, but we are getting close," said Aldis. [3:17 onwards]

Another WWE veteran has drawn similarities between Bron Breakker and Goldberg

Although Bron Breakker has often been compared to Scott Steiner, Dutch Mantell thinks the former is quite similar to Goldberg.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk, Mantell pointed out that even Breakker's expressions resembled Goldberg's. He also stated that the 26-year-old needed better booking to truly stand out.

"Well, he is just a remake of Goldberg. That's all it is. He even does the facial expressions that Goldberg does. He is snorting and spitting all the way out there. I think they could have given him just a little bit [something], and I understand to make him a killer, I understand that," he said. [54:10 - 54:30]

While Dutch Mantell's words may have merit, it is undeniable that Bron Breakker has led to much buzz in the WWE Universe. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for him on WWE RAW.
