A WWE veteran recently discussed the possibility of a major betrayal in The Bloodline amid The Rock and Roman Reigns' absence from the Stamford-based promotion. The name in question is Jim Cornette.

After WrestleMania XL, The Tribal Chief and The Great One have been absent from television. Although The Brahma Bull made an appearance on the fallout episode of RAW after The Show of Shows, he announced that he would be taking some time off from WWE due to his commitments in Hollywood. Amid the duo's absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline and has brought in two new members, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, into the Samoan faction.

During a recent edition of his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the 62-year-old wrestling veteran discussed the May 3, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown, where Randy Orton asked Paul Heyman who was the real Tribal Chief. However, before Heyman could reveal the name, Sikoa and Tama Tonga interfered to take out The Viper and Kevin Owens.

Cornette questioned if The Rock was the real Tribal Chief instead of Roman Reigns. The wrestling veteran added that Solo Sikoa might have launched an attack before The Wiseman could speak in an attempt to betray Reigns and dethrone him from the position of The Tribal Chief.

"Well, now that's what I'm thinking. There's only one Tribal Chief but he [Paul Heyman] has not acknowledged exactly who it is right now. Now, could it be The Rock? Or could it be that Solo was attempting to ascend to the throne before his time and Roman Reigns is out trying to rediscover his motivation or whatever the story they're going to have for him when he comes back. And where's Jacob Fatu? That's what I wanna know," Jim Cornette said. [10:36 - 11:07]

What the future has in store for The Bloodline remains to be seen.

WWE Hall of Famer believes The Rock will side with Solo Sikoa instead of Roman Reigns in a potential Bloodline WarGames match

During a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray said that The Rock will team up with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa in a potential Survivor Series Bloodline WarGames match.

Ray also mentioned that Roman Reigns' team might include The Tribal Chief himself, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn.

"Survivor Series Bloodline WarGames. Let me see if I can get this right. [The] Rock, Solo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa versus Roman, Jimmy, Jey, Sami. (...) That works for the WarGames, right? Based on how everybody's character is right now, right?" Bully Ray said. [14:33 - 15:11]

It will be interesting to see how Roman Reigns and The Rock will react to Solo Sikoa taking over The Bloodline after their impending returns to WWE.
