Wrestling veteran Konnan believes AEW star Anna Jay should leave Tony Khan's promotion to join WWE.

The 25-year-old made her AEW in-ring debut in 2020. Later that year, she joined The Dark Order. However, her run with the stable ended in July 2022 when she turned heel and joined the Jericho Appreciation Society. Nevertheless, the group disbanded last August. Since then, The Queen Slayer has suffered defeats in most of her matches on AEW TV.

On the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan suggested Jay would be more successful if she left Tony Khan's promotion for WWE. He claimed she has the potential to become a big star under Triple H's creative leadership.

"Yeah, there's a couple of people there that I think would do better in WWE and she's one of them. And I don't think she has heat because of the [Jack] Perry thing. It's just normal non-sensical AEW's what I would call it. But yeah, she has everything to be a huge star and her value is not going up staying there. Look at how fast they made Jade [Cargill] a star over there," he said. [22:36 - 23:03]

Jade Cargill will compete for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship months after moving from AEW

As Konnan suggested for Anna Jay, Jade Cargill left AEW after her contract expired last year and joined the Stamford-based company. Although she remained inactive for a few months, the 31-year-old became a top star on SmackDown after officially joining the brand a few weeks ago.

Cargill and Bianca Belair are now the number-one contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championship. They will square off against the current champions, The Kabuki Warriors, next month at Backlash France.

While the former AEW TBS Champion is expected to achieve much more success in the Stamford-based company in the upcoming months, it would be interesting to see if Anna Jay decides to walk in her footsteps as well.
