Hall of Famer Madusa (Alundra Blayze) believes Jade Cargill probably impressed WWE by getting squashed in 50 seconds against Kris Statlander in AEW earlier this year.

Jade Cargill joined Tony Khan's promotion in 2020. About two years later, she became the inaugural TBS Champion after defeating Ruby Soho in a tournament final. She held the title for over 500 days before losing it to Kris Statlander in a squash match that lasted only 50 seconds last May at Double or Nothing.

The 31-year-old recently left AEW after her contract expired to join WWE. Speaking on her Trash Talk podcast, Madusa disclosed that she believes Cargill getting squashed in her last match was proof she was ready to be in the Stamford-based company.

"Here's two things. To me, the woman was ready for WWE even if her skills are low. Meaning, she did business and she did it the right way. She dropped the title again, cold, even in a squash. You know what that says to me as another company? She can do business, period. So, everything else about her is a plus," she said. [10:56 - 11:22]

WWE will get rid of Jade Cargill if the ex-AEW TBS Champion commits one specific mistake, warns a Hall of Famer. Check out the details here.

Rhea Ripley wants to face Jade Cargill in WWE

After signing with the Stamford-based company, Jade Cargill named some of her dream opponents, including Bianca Belair, Nia Jax and the current Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley.

In an interview with Sporting News Australia, The Eradicator addressed possibly going head-to-head against the former AEW TBS Champion.

"If Jade wants to come to my brand, then I would love to step in the ring with her and show her exactly why Mami is always on top. Because I have watched bits and pieces of her from her time in the other company and she is fantastic and she believes in herself and she is a star. She believes she's a star, which is always the most dangerous thing. When someone believes in themselves, they are very hard to stop. But, I'm also Mami [laughs]."

WWE is hyping up Jade Cargill despite her being inexperienced for one sole reason, claims an ex-superstar. Check out the details here.
