In a recent interview with the Daily Star, WCW legend Diamond Dallas Page stated that the boos rained down upon John Cena and Roman Reigns were ‘total bull****’.

On the topic of the aforementioned nuclear heat directed by the vast majority of professional wrestling fans towards Cena and Reigns, Page insinuated that people booing Cena didn't really get that the latter was a megastar who had carried the WWE on his back for more than a decade.

Speaking about the thunderous boos showered upon Cena and Reigns by fans, Diamond Dallas Page stated:

"I think the boos are bulls**t—Everybody who doesn't like John Cena doesn't get what we do. I mean, they just don't get it.”

Author’s take

I’ve got to agree with DDP here. We, as fans, have every right in the world to express our opinion. However, with that being said, we ought to show the performers respect for what they do day-in-and-day-out for the sake of our entertainment.
