WWE is lucky that the news didn’t break out during last month, the month leading to WrestleMania. The news would have made a big splash and WWE would have found it hard to manage the backlash given that the build-up for WrestleMania was not that great.

In another update, Titus O’Neil’s suspension has officially ended. Titus got into hot waters with WWE when he grabbed Vince McMahon’s arm during Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech on February 8. Titus was initially suspended for 90 days. In the wake of a severe backlash from the fans, WWE reduced the suspension to 60 days.

Though the suspension was reduced, Titus’s suspension cost him severely in terms of momentum as he was just getting the much deserved push after a long time. It was also rumoured that Vince was initially planning to terminate Titus. Given all these indications, the powerhouse receiving any more push from WWE is going to be a big question mark.

If WWE wills, Titus could return to the ring as soon as next week.
