After tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, a dark match took place after the programme went off the air. The participants included RAW’s Seth Rollins and Chirs Jericho going off against Smackdown Live’s John Cena and the WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose in a tag-team match, which Cena and Ambrose managed to win.
All four members of this match are having matches at SummerSlam on August 21st , where Seth Rollins is going to square off against “The Demon” Finn Balor for the WWE Universal Title, while on the other hand, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens are going to fight against Enzo and Cass.
Smackdown’s John Cena will be going off against “The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles, and the WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose will be defending his title against “The Showoff” Dolph Ziggler.
This week was RAW’s go-home show before SummerSlam, and some really interesting things took place tonight. Seth Rollins, after failing to find the “Demon King” backstage, went to the ring to call him out after RAW GM Mick Foley advised him to do so. To answer his call, Balor did come out with his demon paint on.
During the said segment a fan tried to attack Seth after jumping into the ring, although he was restrained by the officials immediately and taken away. Rusev and Roman Reigns had a non-title match tonight, which Reigns won by using the spear. After the match, Rusev attacked Reigns backstage.
Kevin Owens with Chris Jericho at the ringside squared off against Big Cass with Enzo at his side in a singles match.
This week on Smackdown’s go-home show, John Cena will be going off against Mexico’s Greatest Import, Alberto Del Rio, and the WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose alongside the number one contender for the WWE World Championship; Dolph Ziggler will be the guest on Miz T.V.
