The night ended on a high note.

No. I’m not talking about Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. I’m talking about the four men who Vince Mcmahon thought were the few who were aiming to grab his proverbial brass ring. The main event of Raw had each one of them playing a part. The night also saw one more addition into that club, perhaps.

Elimination Chamber will be remembered for two matches.

One where Kevin Owens won in his first match against John Cena- the franchise player, the face of the company and the 15 time World Champion.

The other one was where Ambrose shocked the world, albeit for a moment, by pinning Seth Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Of course, there was a swerve. The climax was very anti- climactic with a Daniel Bryan treatment to Ambrose. But Ambrose is Ambrose and so he took the title with him. This adds to his history of taking away possessions that technically don’t belong to him but he sure did deserve to win if it wasn’t for cheating or outside interference. Be it The Money In The Bank briefcase or the Intercontinental Championship or the WWE World Heavyweight title. He’s been taken away by security so many times and so often that he’s already the face of rebelliousness for this era.

The Fallout Show to Elimination Chamber

If we fall back on these two matches then the fallout at raw was quite worth it.

Owens and Cena faced off in a confrontation where Cena spit out a lot of repetitive things. The loss did get into his head and hurt his ego. Owens did not budge on his exclamations to fight. Owens went out being as cool and casual about it. he’s going to bring the fight when the time comes. And he’s given us every reason to believe that.

Owens also debuted a variation of his first WWE T- Shirt- the ‘KO’ shirt.

This is his third T-Shirt in 6 months of his arrival in the realm of the WWE. That’s ought to mean something.

That’s ought to mean that WWE has big plans for him and he may be the latest addition to Vince McMahon’s list of superstars, capable of grabbing the brass ring.

Speaking of the list- Roman Reigns is in it and he faced three people in one night to claim his spot in the Money In The Bank match.

Ambrose came for a brief moment but what a moment it was. It was glorious and he got a reaction deserved of popular Champions.

And Seth Rollins was hilarious and annoying as a heel should be. He was angry and he played it well. It was interesting to see him yell at his allies and walk out of the ring.

Bray Wyatt had a strong showing but storyline wise he had nothing substantial to contribute. He has The Authority’s support if that means anything but where is he headed? Nobody knows.

But the night ended on a high note with all three members of The Shield making the championship scene all the more refreshing and exhilarating.

Questions Galore

What if Reigns wins The Money in the Bank? What if Ambrose wins the Championship as he’s so popular right now? What if Rollins retains the Championship and Reigns cashes it on him to win his maiden title?

What if Lesnar has a rematch against Rollins but Reigns cashes in like Rollins did at Wrestlemania and Lesnar again without getting pinned, does not claim the title?

Or what if, Ambrose wins at MITB and then Reigns cashes in on Ambrose?

All of this may be building to this moment.

But the highlight of the night remains the reaction that Ambrose got.
