WWE Rumours: Two big possible matches for WWE Hell In A Cell PPV

What does the red brand have in store for barbaric PPV?

Coming off the trails of the Clash Of Champions pay per view (PPV) event this past weekend, preparations for the WWE’s next big PPV, Hell In A Cell, should begin to get underway in the coming weeks. Hell In A Cell is one of the most highly anticipated PPV events each year, as it always provides professional wrestling fans with exciting and high impact action each and every time.

As the title scene currently stands on Monday Night RAW, there are a few interesting matches that could take place at the monumental event, and we will take a look at two of the most likely one to go down, according to reports.

First up are the plans for the now coveted WWE Universal Title that currently rests so comfortably around the waist of Kevin Owens. Owens recently retained his title against Seth Rollins in their main event matchup at Clash Of Champions this past weekend and put on an excellent performance, if I do say so myself.

One possibility going forward is for Owens to defend his title in a triple threat match between himself, Rollins, and his newfound best friend and fellow Canadian brethren Chris Jericho, who assisted him in his win over Rollins at Clash Of Champions.

It should be interesting to see the progression of Owens and Jericho’s relationship as the possibility of a match between the two of them lingers overhead. This could very well be Jericho’s last match with the company for a while, as he is scheduled to record another album with his band Fozzy.

Another possible matchup for Hell In A Cell is a meeting between the women’s division rivals Sasha Banks and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte. Charlotte and Banks have been feuding with one another for quite some time now, as Banks lost the title at SummerSlam in a match she wasn’t supposed to lose. Banks reportedly needed to take some time off to nurse nagging injuries, but nonetheless, she is now back on the road with the company and competing in full force once again.

If ‘The Boss’ is now one hundred percent fit and ready to take on the duties of being champion once again, it should be interesting to see how long her reign as champion lasts the second time around. Mick Foley announced on this week’s RAW that Sasha Banks would face Charlotte in a Women’s Championship match on next week’s RAW. Sasha could very well walk into Hell In A Cell as the Women’s Champion.

Hell In A Cell will take place live on pay per view (PPV), and on the WWE Network from the TD Garden in Boston on October 30th, 2016.
