Sami Zayn's return confirmed, new character to make a debut, Bayley's new challenge

Sami Zayn’s long-awaited return is just around the corner

Sami Zayn’s impending return to in-ring action has been the talk of the town as it has been a while since we’ve seen the talented grappler.

In a huge development, WWE confirmed that Sami Zayn would indeed be making a return pretty soon and even put out this video hyping up his return.

The former NXT Champion has already been advertised for NXT's UK tour in December and it would be wise on WWE’s part to have him make an appearance on TV before the live event. Even though the date of his return is not exactly known, the vignette points out to it happening very soon.

Zayn has significantly recovered from his injury and was seen back at the Performance center. He is back to training and all set to make a huge return in the weeks to come. It would be intriguing to see how WWE uses Zayn with the NXT roster seeing an upgrade of sorts.

Getting a shot at the title is the most logical step for Sami and it could happen possibly after Samoa Joe wins the belt off Finn Balor. It would set up a dream match between the Samoan Submission machine and the Generic Luchador.

He could also be slotted into a three-way feud with Balor and Joe, which also guarantees a show stealer of a program. The bottom line is that Zayn’s return adds new dimensions and depth to the Championship scene.

If all of these don’t pan out, WWE could surprise us all and by calling Zayn up to the main roster.

- NXT’s ever bulging roster would see the return of Elias Samson, but with a complete overhaul in character. The most recent NXT episode witnessed a vignette featuring Elias and a ‘musical’ preview of his new avatar. Watch the vignette below:

- The NXT Women’s Championship saw another major development as Nia Jax ambushed Bayley after her successful title defense against Eva Marie. Nia Jax has quickly risen up the ranks and has been pushed into the title picture.

Post-match, Eva Marie was asked about being handed a shot at the Women’s title to which she retorted and said that she is the hardest working Diva on the roster and has worked for the opportunity.

Bayley surely has her task cut out for herself as she has to deal with Nia Jax and also Eva Marie, who surely ain't done with the champion as of yet.
