Fans are urging Triple H to sign a former WWE Superstar as his AEW contract is about to expire. The star being discussed is Mark Henry.

The World's Strongest Man was arguably one of WWE's best big men. He has had a storied career and won multiple championships during his time in the Stamford-based promotion. He retired from in-ring competition in 2017 and worked with the company as a backstage producer until 2021.

In May 2021, AEW introduced Mark Henry as the newest addition to its programming. He worked as a commentator and announcer for a short time and is also a backstage coach. He hasn't been involved in any in-ring action throughout his time in AEW.

Recent reports are suggesting that the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion's contract is expiring this month. However, it is still unclear if Mark will re-sign with the Tony Khan-led promotion or not.

Since the reports have surfaced, fans are urging Triple H to re-hire Mark Henry and use him in managerial roles. An individual also suggested that he might be a perfect manager for Cody Rhodes.

AEW's Mark Henry is excited for Cody Rhodes' heel turn

Cody Rhodes has been a huge babyface in the Stamford-based promotion since his arrival at WrestleMania 38. He is loved by fans and kids everywhere he goes.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the World's Strongest Man stated that he would love to see the American Nightmare as a heel in WWE.

"He's doing the puppet thing right now with everybody. 'Look at me, I'm a nice guy.' And then he's gonna do just like I did, 'You all a bunch of puppets, you did what I told you to do! And now, you gonna get to see the real Cody Rhodes. And him, as a heel? After you loved him and respected him, and he goes to give the belt, and then don't and the kids start crying? I can't wait!" Mark Henry said.

As of now, there's been no update on whether Mark Henry will renew his current contract or return to WWE.
