Alex Michael Caruso, nicknamed "Bald Mamba" and "Carushow," is an American professional basketball player. He is signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA, as of 2024. Born February 28, 1994, in College Station, Texas, U.S., Caruso attended A&M Consolidated High School. He was named TABC All-Regional, All-State as well as TABC All-Star and district MVP after leading his team to the postseason as a senior. Caruso played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies, averaging 8.0 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game He finished as the college’s all-time leader in assists (649) and steals (276) over four seasons. After going undrafted in 2016, Caruso joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the NBA 2016 Summer League. He joined the Oklahoma City Thunder and was waived when the Oklahoma City Blue selected him for the NBA Development League.

Caruso was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017 for the NBA Summer League. He propelled the Lakers to a victory in the 2017 Summer League Championship in Las Vegas. After playing two years as a two-way player, he signed a two-year contract with the Lakers worth $5.5 million on July 6, 2019, and won the NBA championship in 2020. After becoming an unrestricted free agent post that season, Caruso signed with the Chicago Bulls in a four-year deal worth $37 million on August 10, 2021. After three seasons with the Bulls, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in June 2024. In 2024, He signed a contract extension worth $81,096,960 for 4 years with the Thunders.
