Born on July 21, 1988, DeAndre Jordan's basketball journey started at Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas, and later at Christian Life Center Academy in Humble, Texas. He later played at Texas A&M Aggies for one season before declaring for the 2008 NBA Draft, where he was selected 35th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers.
The first two seasons with the Clippers were a learning curve for Jordan. However, in his third season, he emerged as the starting center, averaging 25.6 minutes per game.
