Josh Hart is an American basketball player who plays as a small forward/shooting guard for the New York Knicks in the NBA as of May 2025. Hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, Hart began his NBA journey after being selected with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He was subsequently traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, then played for the New Orleans Pelicans (2019–2022), the Portland Trail Blazers (2022–2023), before joining the New York Knicks in 2023.
