Joshua "Josh" Michael Richardson is an American professional basketball player known for his reliability off the bench in the NBA. He attended Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he earned multiple accolades, including being named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association "Large West" All-State Team and The Oklahoman's Super 5 first team.

Richardson played all four seasons at the University of Tennessee, appearing in 136 career games for the Volunteers. He finished his collegiate career ranking third in school history in games played, ninth in minutes, ninth in starts, 10th in steals, 16th in blocks, and 28th in points.

Drafted by the Miami Heat with the 40th pick in the 2015 NBA draft, Richardson quickly established himself as a two-way guard during his four years with the Heat. He has since played for several teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and San Antonio Spurs, and is now back with the Miami Heat.

In the 2023-2024 NBA season, Richardson is averaging 10 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
