The American college football player Jarquez Hunter is a running back for the Auburn Tigers, a team which competes in the Southeastern Conference. He is in his senior year as of April 2025 according to his roster on Auburn Tigers website. As a true freshman in the year 2021 at tailback, Hunter was named to the SEC all-freshman team. He rushed for 597 yards for the season and became 9th among all-time Auburn freshman rushers.

Hunter, at tailback, rushed for 675 yards, 7TD in the 2022 season where he recorded 1,269 career rushing yards with 10 career rush TD. He was ranked as No. 41st amid Auburn career rushers. In the season of 2023, Hunter recorded 2,172 career rushing yards and 17 career rushing TD. He further led the rushers with 53 yards at Cal. During the season of 2024 as a senior tailback, Hunter earned the first team all-SEC and was ranked fourth amid Auburn career rushers while recording 3,371 yards including 25 rush TD.

Additionally, he earned the Class 5A state MVP. He was named to the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game and Meridian Star Premier Preps player of the year. He was ranked as one of the top 12 overall prospects in the state by ESPN, 24/7 and Rivals.
