Fernando Torres signs for Sagan Tosu

El Nino has decided to join Japanese top flight club Sagan Tosu. The 34-year-old reportedly rejected bids from Australian and Chinese clubs to make a move to Japan. Torres has even taken a wage cut to join the Japanese club who are currently 17th in the J-League.

On his new journey, Torres said, "Sagan Tosu were one of the first clubs to be interested in me, they have convinced me with the project. I think Japan and the Japanese League is going to be a great experience, they have made a great effort and they believe that I can be one of the solutions so that the team returns to the place where it has to be."

Tottenham Hotspur back in Malcom race

Spurs have renewed their interest in Bordeaux winger Malcom. Le10 Sport has reported that talks between Inter Milan and Malcom have broken down with the Nerazzurri not possessing the required funds to sign the youngster. Spurs are yet to initiate talks but are expected to start negotiations in the coming days with Chelsea also lurking.
