That has been myself ( Rishab) and my partner Lavil taking your leave for the moment. Hope you enjoyed our team's coverage of this encounter between Bangladesh and the West Indies. Have a great day ahead!
Cricket returning to Bangladesh after long time and they will start off on a winning note! 34 overs taken to chase a total just above 120 and four wickets lost in the process, that shows for the fight that the young Windies attack put up. Seemed like it would be an easy straightforward chase but it wasn't to be. There was some good bounce and turn and the bowlers made good use of it. Akeal in particular was terrific with the ball, picking three big wickets on debut and troubling the batsmen. He bowled exceedingly well with some tight lines and lengths and some wonderful variations as well, which was an absolute delight to watch. Alzarri Joseph was exceptional as well getting some good bounce and keeping it for most in the right areas. For West Indies to take it that long and not allow Bangladesh to dominate and get away with an easy win was a brilliant effort no doubt!

Tamim and Liton started quite well as runs were coming at a decent pace in the first ten overs for them. Although, they but did look a little uncomfortable and not in their full flow. Once the spinners came in, they looked all the more in some discomfort and with a couple of quick wickets going down, they resorted to the safer approach. They took their time in the middle and looked to play without taking much risk. Probably buying some game time as well given that they were returning to cricket after a long gap. In the end, it's still pretty much a convincing victory for the hosts as they did really well with the ball to bundle out the Windies early on for a paltry 122 before coming and chasing it down.

Not a great start to the tour for West Indies. They seemed to have started well with the bat but then faltered and just fell apart. They'll be disappointed with the batting performance. Lots of inexperience there and this will be a learning curve for all these youngsters going forward. But what they can be proud of, was their effort with the ball. Given that were defending a nothing total, it could have gotten worse had they allowed the batsmen get on top of them and score the runs quickly. There was a lot on offer for the bowlers on this surface, both the quicks and the spin bowlers. Joseph and Akeal in particular bowled really well and they managed to keep it nice and tight. That will give them confidence in the games to come.

In the end, a complete performance from Bangladesh to pull off a convincing win over the Windies to go 1-nil up in the three match series. They will be confident the way they bowled and just a little looking to do as far as the batting is concerned. They will be looking to continue playing well and seal the series in the next game!
Tamim Iqbal: It was a wonderful bowling show. Mustafizur gave an early advantage and was very well followed up by the spinners and the debutant Hasan Mahmud. It was a tough pitch to bat on, maybe because of the conditions and rain. In my opinion, we have batted well and carried along smoothly to in the game and we should carry along the same form
Shakib Al Hassan(MoM): My focus was to bowl in the right areas and let the ball and the pitch do their work. To be honest, I didn't count my domestic performance. Other's count it, I don't. My batting performance was good in the respect of the game and I need to work on it. The boys are playing after 10 months and they have looked a bit rusty. Hopefully, we will be better in the next game
Jason Mohammed: I think it was a bit difficult for us. the wicket was tough and our players couldn't get enough starts on offer. It was a great 61 run partnership at that moment. It was positive and we need to work on this going ahead. We know it's a tough place to play and we will get used to it sooner. Yes, Akeal was on his debut and bowled well and we'll hope he carries his performace
Tossed up again outside off and the batsmen just looking to put away for singles and play safe again. They aren't even looking to take the quick singles and it's been the safe approach from them all the way. Quite surprisingly so from them. But finally, Mushfiqur gets the boundary and they've finished this game in some fashion! 6 wickets and just over 16 overs to spare!
33.5 Nkumurah Bonner to Mushfiqur Rahim, FOUR!AND BANGLADESH WIN! Full length delivery on the off stump line, Rahim looked to reverse the ball fine through the gap and they get a boundary to end the chase and win the first match post 10 months
33.5 Nkumurah Bonner to Mushfiqur Rahim, back of a length delivery outside off, tapped away on the offside for a dot ball again, and its a no-ball too
33.4 Nkumurah Bonner to Mushfiqur Rahim, full-length ball on the off stump line, tapped away with gentle hands for a dot ball to fielder
33.3 Nkumurah Bonner to Mushfiqur Rahim, length delivery on the fourth stump line from Bonner as Rahim leaves it alone, no run
33.2 Nkumurah Bonner to Mahmuddulah, length ball outside off, tapped away for a single to deep sweeper cover
33.1 Nkumurah Bonner to Mahmuddulah, short and a bit wide outside off, Mahmuddullah looked to cut it but gets an inside edge for a dot ball
No hurries whatsoever from the batsmen. They have choosy about their shot making and taking this slow and steady all the way. Good tight bowling once again and its been played out respectfully as well. 4 needed now
