Indian Tuskers hold on to their nerves in the end to clinch the win after the Golden Ball!

IBCC ended on 83-4 at the end of the regulation 10 overs and thus, a Golden Ball was used to settle the scores. IBCC did not manage to score two or more and Tuskers got the win!

With this win, Indian Tuskers have managed to win their second win of the tournament and almost seal their place in the semi-final spots. Tuskers had a slow start to their first innings today as Fayyas Mohammad toiled on almost single-handedly to get them to a respectable 83-1 after 10 overs. The IBCC bowling attack had a good outing with Bakhtiar Tahiri, Gagandeep Singh and Agagyul Ahamdhel grabbing a couple of wickets each and restricting the flow of runs from the Tuskers.

IBCC started off on a strong note in their chase with Tahiri and Sid Kulkarni playing some fine shots across the park. However, the Tuskers' bowling unit got their act together and picked up a string of wickets to turn the screws and apply pressure on the chasing side. With a steady loss of wickets, IBCC struggled to get near the score but some good hitting from Agagyul Ahamdhel got them equal on the board as the Golden Ball came into play.

Fayyas Mohammad kept his calm and delivered a good ball to keep them scoreless and clinch a crucial win for the Indian Tuskers.

IBCC now take on Barbarian CC later today in the final match of the league stage before the semifinals. Catch all the action right here at Sportskeeda!

Till then, this is Gaurav Kadam, and my partner, Maanas Upadhyay signing off! Stay safe everyone!
Golden Ball: F Mohammad to A Ahmadhel, OUT! RUN-OUT! The Tuskers have done it! Loopy full ball outside off, the batsman shimmies down the track but fails to connect with the heave. The batsmen take off for the single. The keeper collects the ball and whips off the bails to dismiss the non-striker.
IBCC's Agagyul Ahmadhel will be on strike for the ball and Indian Tuskers' Fayyas Mohammad will deliver the Golden Ball.

Who will get the final laugh here? Clutch time!
GOLDEN BALL! The batting side will need two or more runs off a single delivery to win this encounter!
IBCC 83-4 after 10 overs.

Would you believe it! IBCC needed 13 off the final over and just fall short of one run and the scores are level!

A golden ball will be used to settle this tie now!
9.6 F Mohammad to R Singh, elgnth ball on the off stump edged to square leg. The batsmen can just manage a single. MATCH TIED! Would you believe it! After 20 overs of cricket, there is nothing separating the two teams!
9.5 F Mohammad to R Singh, slower length ball on the leg stump spinning in, the batsman rocks back and slogs that towards deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs. Some sloppy fielding but the Singh refuses the third. It all boils down to the final ball!
9.4 F Mohammad to A Ahmadhel, length ball on the leg stump, the batsman comes down the track and whacks that straight down the ground. Some good fielding restricts that to a couple of runs. However, an overthrow allows the batsmen to scamper across for another run. 4 runs required off 2 balls now!
9.3 F Mohammad to A Ahmadhel, FOUR! Full ball on the leg stump, the batsman clears his front foot and whacks that for a boundary towards deep mid-wicket! 7 runs required off 3 balls now! Can Ahmadhel led IBCC to the win?
9.2 F Mohammad to A Ahmadhel, no run, full ball outside off, the batsman comes down the track unlocks to dispatch that but cannot connect. The keeper cannot collect it cleanly and misses the stumping opportunity!
9.1 F Mohammad to A Ahmadhel, full toss on the body, the batsman mistimes the heave towards deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs.
IBCC 69-2 with nine overs bowled.

Prakash Mishra starts off with a much-needed sixer to get the chase back on track. Kulkarni is run out on the second ball as they push for runs.

Harikumar gets a crucial breakthrough getting Mishra out with an excellent catch by Tuskers' skipper Lazarus at long on. He ends up conceding 12 runs in the over.

IBCC now require 13 runs in 6 balls as Fayyas Mohammad comes in to bowl the final over.
8.6 A Harikumar to A Ahmadhel, length ball on the leg stump, the batsman dances down the track and slaps that to long off for a single! This match is going right down the wire!
8.6 A Harikumar to A Ahmadhel, WIDE ball outside off!
8.5 A Harikumar to R Singh, slower loopy length ball on the off stump, the batsman heads that along the ground towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
8.4 A Harikumar to A Ahmadhel, length ball on the off stump driven firmly to long off for a single.
8.3 A Harikumar to P Mishra, OUT! Length ball on the leg stump, the batsman comes down the track and looks to go big downtown. An absolute screamer from the skipper patrolling the long on boundary sees Mishra go back to the pavilion.
8.3 A Harikumar to P Mishra, WIDE ball outside off! These extras are hurting their chances of defending this low total.
8.2 A Harikumar to P Mishra, RUN-OUT! length ball on the middle stump chipped over the bowler's head for a single. The batsmen take off for the suicidal single and a good throw coupled with some good work by the bowler send the set Kulkarni packing!
8.1 A Harikumar to P Mishra, SIX! Length ball outside off, the batsman comes down the track and clubs that over the covers for a maximum! IBCC are right back in this contest!
