New Zealand won by 72 runs

2-0 to the Kiwis!
It was never really a contest, to be honest. This was always going to be New Zealand's game once they posted 238/3 in their 20 overs. And only the most optimistic of West Indies fans would have had some hope when skipper Kieron Pollard dispatched Mitch Santner for three massive sixes in the thirteenth over. Once Pollard was dismissed, it was just a wait for the misery to end.

The big story today, however, has to be what Glenn Phillips and Devon Conway did earlier in the day. And while it may have only drizzled a little bit to delay play earlier in the day, it was pouring sixes off Phillips' bat as he got to 108 off just 51 balls. He and Conway shared a massive 184-run partnership that kept the Windies out of the game even a couple of hours later.

The pick of the Kiwi bowlers was Kyle Jamieson who picked up two wickets after making life difficult for the Windies batsmen early in the chase. Santner did pick up a couple as well but was expensive, thanks largely to what Pollard did to him right before he perished. Ferguson was brilliant as well, picking up the wicket of Rovman Powell with a ripper of a delivery. Tim Southee would be disappointed with his returns but it is what it is, and he leads his men to another victory today.

Although the Kiwis may have effectively won the series, we still have a game to go. Do join us as we cover all the action from Mount Maunganui as Mitchell Santner leads his country out for the first time in his career. Until then, that's it from my colleague, Prasen Moudgal, and myself, Habil Ahmed. Have a great day, and cheers!

P.S: We're also covering the second India-Australia ODI live right now. So head over there for all the action from Sydney.
That's the end of the innings, the end of the match, and the end of the West Indies' misery. New Zealand win comfortably win by 72 runs. Thanks largely to an impressive 108 from one Glenn Phillips. The Kiwis also take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series too, of course.
Over: 20 | Summary: 0 0 0 6 0 1 Bowler: Ish Sodhi Score: 166/9
19.6 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, New Zealand win by 72 runs! Shortish delivery outside off, Paul can only loft it to long on for a single. Comprehensive win for NZ, led by a terrific effort from Glenn Phillips with bat and on the field!
19.5 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, full and spinning away, Paul hits it along the ground to long on
19.4 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, SIX! Fuller this time from Sodhi, Paul picked the length well, reached out and belted it over long on for a maximum!
19.3 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, length ball smashed straight back at Sodhi who gets a finger to it. He seems to have hurt his finger, but he saved a certain boundary.
19.2 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, slow and loopy length ball outside off, the ball holds its line and goes under a swipe from Paul
19.1 Ish Sodhi to Keemo Paul, slower length ball on leg stump, Paul mistimes a pull to square leg
15 off that over after Keemo Paul landed a couple of huge hits in the end. A case of too little too late though. Not a team in the world that can land 80 off the final over, unfortunately. Ish Sodhi will finish things off.
Over: 19 | Summary: 0 6 2 0 6 1 Bowler: Tim Southee Score: 159/9
18.6 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, slower short ball outside off, Paul knocks it to point for a single and will retain strike
18.5 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, SIX! That's gone a long, long way back! Short from Southee without much pace, Paul crunched that over deep mid-wicket for a huge six!
GLENN PHILLIPS IS HUMAN! Would you believe it!?
18.4 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, slower length ball outside off, driven to mid on
18.3 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, it's all happening here! Paul skipped down the track and skied a short of length ball, Phillips couldn't hang on after back tracking from cover
18.2 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, SIX! Length ball again from Southee, Paul stands tall and powers it away over long on!
18.1 Tim Southee to Keemo Paul, Dropped! Stunning effort from Santner to get two hands on a loft from Paul, almost pulled off a screamer!
Just three runs from the 18th. This is turning into a slow, painful death for the Windies' hopes in this game. Jamieson finishes with two wickets, and the Windies need 95 to win off the last 12 balls.
