That's all my colleague, Vinay Chhabria, and I, Kartik Iyer, have for you today, folks.
Do join us next weekend for all the Group 4 action of the Czech T10 Super Series 2020.
Prague Barbarians Vandals are the champions of Group 3
PCR
is restricted to 96/5 to fall short by 26 runs. Already facing a daunting target, PCR was let down by their captain Rohit Deshmoyni who scored a painstaking 9 runs off 15 deliveries.
Surya Rengarajan (31 off 15 balls) and Kushal Mendon (32 off 16 balls) tried to give some fight but it was all in a losing cause.
All the PBVA bowlers did a decent job and never let PCR get a sniff of the target.
Prague Barbarians Vandals thus qualify for the final stage of the tournament to be played between the 4 group toppers.
9.6 Sagar Madhireddy to K Panchal, two runs to sweeper cover. PBVA win by 26 runs.
9.5 Sagar Madhireddy to Aakash Parmar, he is caught behind.
PCR - 90/4 after 9 overs. 33 required off the last over, only a mathematical possibility here. Pretty much game, set and done at this stage!
8.3 Honey Gori to Kushal Mendon, poor fielding in the deep, they gift Kushal FOUR runs! Kushal should have come up the order.
8.2 Honey Gori to Aakash Parmar, the wicket-keeper judges it wrongly and the batsmen steal a bye.
8.1 Honey Gori to Kushal Mendon, another single for PCR. They are in a serious need of boundaries right now
PCR - 77/3 after 8 overs. 46 required from 12 balls. This is turning out to be a one-sided final.
7.6 J Stooman to Aakash Parmar, he tries to play an aggressive shot, but fails to clear the boundary. 2 runs for PCR.
7.5 J Stooman to Kushal Mendon, another single for PCR, Aakash back on strike for the last delivery.
7.5 J Stooman to Aakash Parmar, WIDE+1, Two runs for the batting team.
7.4 J Stooman to Aakash Parmar, the batsman dances down the pitch and punishes him with a mammoth six! Seems to be too little, too late.
7.3 J Stooman to Kushal Mendon, another single here! PBVA have almost sealed the deal.
7.2 J Stooman to Aakash Parmar, the new batsman gets off the mark with a single.
7.1 J Stooman to Kushal Mendon, one run, placed it on the leg side, and they get only one run.
PCR - 63/3 after 7 overs. They need 60 from 18 balls, 20 runs per over. This is turning out to be a lost cause.
6.6 Divyendra Singh to Kushal Mendon, the batsmen try to steal two runs again, but this time they settle for one.
6.5 Divyendra Singh to Kushal Mendon, dot ball! PBVA seem to be running away with this one..
6.4 Divyendra Singh to Kushal Mendon, RUN OUT! The batsmen tried to steal two runs, but Rohit could not complete the second run as he got RUN OUT! Can this turn out to be a blessing for PCR?
