Rajasthan won the match by 15 runs

Well done Rajasthan. While one may have written them off after the failure to put up a substantial total on board. Their bowlers stood up and delivered as they defended a good total and have made a possible contention for themselves to go ahead and play the quarter-finals.

Rajasthan bowled well in the powerplay overs and that helped them to do well and go ahead with the ball in hand. They were battered away for 39 runs in the first 4 overs, but the spin of Ravi Bishnoi did wonders as their opponents lost 2 wickets back to back and that catapulted a short collapse. They looked to get boundaries but went on the backfoot at the ultra-defensive and lost the plot. Avi Barot was a key wicket, but after his loss, Saurashtra looked out of shape like a body without a skeleton.

Wickets kept tumbling and Saurashtra had to retort to only singles and doubles in the middle overs. Arpit Vasavada and Chirag Jani failed to get going and struggled against the bowling as they couldn't churn runs at a good pace and played out defensively in a bid to steady things for the team. They later got out looking to get the big hits in place.

Towards the end, Prerak Mankad was the only light for them at the end of the tunnel as he launched a few big hits and quick boundaries. Parth Chauhan stood like an able ally, but that wasn't enough as they lost the match and ended at 150/5 after 20 overs.

The pick of the bowlers, however, has been Ravi Bishnoi. He came into the attack at the end of the powerplay and struck with crucial wickets as he picked two of them and won the game with his economical bowling
Over: 20 | Summary: 0 0 4 1 4 1 Bowler: Aniket Choudhary Score: 150/5
19.6 Aniket Choudhary to Prerak Mankad, back of a length ball on the off stump, Mankad gets on his toes and slaps it to the right of sweeper cover for a single. With that, Rajasthan beat Saurashtra by 15 runs and qualify for the playoffs!
19.5 Aniket Choudhary to Prerak Mankad, FOUR! CHEEKY! Shuffles across a long way before the ball is bowled, paddles the full toss outside off to the long leg fence! Brilliant shot!
19.4 Aniket Choudhary to Parth Chauhan, yorker on the off stump, drilled towards short cover for a quick single.
19.3 Aniket Choudhary to Parth Chauhan, FOUR! SHOT! Full toss on the body, Chauhan rocks back and dispatches that to the mid-wicket fence! Easy pickings!
19.2 Aniket Choudhary to Parth Chauhan, no run, nails the yorker on the fourth stump line, evades the wild swing by Chauhan
19.1 Aniket Choudhary to Parth Chauhan, no run, brilliant yorker on the pads, Chauhan gets his feet out of the way and tires to squeeze that out but to no avail
Huge mountain to climb, but still, Saurashtra will be hoping for the improbable to happen. They got 14 runs in the over but now they need 26 runs in 6 balls. Can Mankad and Chauhan script a magical turnaround

Tough to see as Aniket Chaudhary in the red hot form will bowl the last over.
Over: 19 | Summary: 6 4 1 1 1 1 Bowler: Khaleel Ahmed Score: 140/5
18.6 Khaleel Ahmed to Parth Chauhan, short ball on the body, pulled to deep mid-wicket for another single.
18.5 Khaleel Ahmed to Prerak Mankad, length ball on the body, heaved towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
18.4 Khaleel Ahmed to Parth Chauhan, DROPPED! Back of a length ball on the body, Chauhan pulls that into the leg side where Lomror at backward square leg makes a meal out of a sitter!
18.3 Khaleel Ahmed to Prerak Mankad, length ball on the middle stump, Mankad slaps that down to long on for a single
18.2 Khaleel Ahmed to Prerak Mankad, FOUR! Full ball outside off angling away, Mankad shuffles across and throws his bat at it. Slices that away to the deep point fence for a boundary!
18.1 Khaleel Ahmed to Prerak Mankad, SIX! MASSIVE HIT! Brings up his half-century in style! Full ball on the off stump, Mankad clears his front foot and whacks that over the bowler's head for a huge maximum!
An improbable ask for Saurashtra now as they need 40 runs in the 12 balls remaining. Saurashtra will need a huge maximum every second delivery from this over if they want to win this game. It's a herculean task, but let's see if they stand up to it.

Khaleel Ahmed will bowl the 19th over
