Well, this has been quite an eventful game right from the start till the very end. The Knights ended with 106, that seemed just about par when they batted first. Proving to be enough in the end though, as they beat the Panthers by 13 runs eventually.
It was all but a one man show for the Panthers. Azhar Andani fought well with a 30-ball 50 but his knock alone was not going to be enough to take them over the line. All the other batsmen failed to get going which cost them the game.
They were unable to build any decent partnership as they lost wickets regularly. They did look to be in the chase at the half-way stage but the Knights bowled very well from there on. Skipper Andrew Winter led the charge with the ball, with figures of 2/11 while Miguel Stoman picked up a couple as well. Junaid Khan and Girish Singh chipping in with one each and it was a good team effort in the end.
That is all from this game then. Do stay tuned for all the action from the final game of the day coming up shortly. This is Rishab and Pratyush signing off for the moment!
That is that then! The Knights desperately needed a win and they have come goods against the Panthers, successfully defending their total in the end as the Panthers fall short!

9.6 Girish Singh to Kishan Suthar, FOUR! Short delivery angling into Kishan, pulls it behind square to collect a boundary but its counts for naught. We've got a massive upset here as Coimbra Knights beat Wild Panthers by 13 runs.
9.5 Girish Singh to Kishan Suthar, full delivery on the fifth stump line, Kishan throws his bat at it, fails to connect
9.4 Girish Singh to Hardik Patel, OUT! Good length delivery angling into Hardik, swings this one towards backward square leg and its straight to the fielder for the simplest of catches!
9.3 Girish Singh to Hardik Patel, FOUR! Back of a length delivery into Hardik, pulls this one behind square to find the ropes. Too little too late though
9.2 Girish Singh to Dharm Patel, fullish delivery angling into Patel, goes for the heave but only squirts a thickish inside edge onto the leg side for a single
9.1 Girish Singh to Dharm Patel, full delivery outside off-stump, Patel drills this drive down to long-off fot a couple
9.1 Girish Singh to Dharm Patel, wide. Good length delivery sliding down the leg side.
Back to back brilliant overs for the Knights and they do seem all pumped out there. Well bowled from Winter and this could very well be it for them now. 26 off the last 6 needed. This is going to be a record chase if the Panthers pull it off from here!

Andrew Winter
2/11
8.6 Andrew Winter to Hardik Patel, nails the yorker which is dug out back to the bowler and he's thrown it back to the keeper. He is fired up!
8.5 Andrew Winter to Hardik Patel, good length delivery angling into Patel, throws the kitchen sink at it and doesn't get anything on it. Winter thought the batsman got something on it and signals for the review. No reviews here though but the skipper is pumped!
8.4 Andrew Winter to Hardik Patel, back of a length delivery outside off, Patel this time has a waft and misses, no run
8.3 Andrew Winter to Dharm Patel, back of a length delivery outside off, Patel ends up with a swing and miss and the keeper fumbles as well, allowing a single to be taken
Half the side down now! This is a big wicket for the Knights at this stage!
8.2 Andrew Winter to Azhar Andani, OUT! IS THAT THE GAME? Short delivery outside off-stump, Azhar gets a toe-end as he tries to work that one away and chips it straight to extra cover, who made no mistake!
8.1 Andrew Winter to Azhar Andani, FOUR! Full delivery sliding down the leg side, easy pickings for Azhar as he flicks it behind square to bring up his half-century!
This is a huge over for the Knights in the context of this game. He's been extremely tight, gets a wicket as well, richly deserved and he's made this difficult for the Panthers now. Not a single boundary off the over and that is very well bowled under pressure. 31 off 12 needed now!
