Since the inception of 3D printing, Minecraft players have created all kinds of items from the game. Players can print diamond swords, pickaxes, creepers, Steve, and much more from the game. One thing that isn't universal to all players that often gets built is a base.

Bases are different for everyone. No two bases from different players will be similar, so 3D printing makes it unique as opposed to a diamond sword or other universal item. That's precisely what this Minecraft Redditor did with their survival base, and the result is exceptional. Check it out below.

Survival bases are one thing nearly all gamers have but wouldn't necessarily recognize. This specific player built this particular base. The elements in use are familiar, but the overall product is not.

The blocks are clear, and the build is just like something found in Minecraft. 3D printing is a triumph for technology, and this is just the latest example of that.

The ability to take something from a virtual game and make it into something real that is tangible is incredible. Whether they're from this game or not, all examples of that prove the point.

The community seems to agree with that idea, too. The post has nearly five thousand upvotes at the time of writing. The comments are filled with players who are impressed with the design and the print.

One commenter has even been inspired to recreate this build in their Survival world.

Fortunately, this design is available as the original creator shared a download link for it.

One of the most excellent parts of this particular 3D print is the coloring, which is often challenging to accomplish. According to the original poster, a company named Shapeways is responsible for it.

When things like this get shared with the community, members can't help but smile and appreciate what Minecraft has done and meant to them.
