Fight fans across the globe are rallying in support of their favorite MMA world champion, Fabricio Andrade, as he attempts to reach two-sport supremacy this November.

The ONE bantamweight world is on a mission to beat ‘The General’ Jonathan Haggerty, the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title in the titular main event at ONE Fight Night 16 on Prime Video.

The highly-anticipated fight card is set to take place inside the Mecca of Muay Thai, the famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand.

With the scene appropriately set for a gladiatorial fight, fans believe Andrade has the warrior spirit within him to make his dreams come true.

As he makes the final preparations to November 3, ‘Wonder Boy’ tugged at the heartstrings this week with throwback pictures of himself en route to the top of the MMA world.

He captioned the photographs on Instagram with the words:

“What a journey it has been so far, defying all statistics. #gratidao #obrigadoDeus.”

Andrade’s inspirational story has prompted massive reactions from the fans. Of course, we all love a good Cinderella Story.

Andrade’s boxing coach, John Hutchinson for one, can speak to the Brazilian’s dedication to the sport. With pure confidence, he wrote the following statement on Andrade’s Instagram page:

‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade is the type of fighter who could push past his own limits and still find the win.

His reputation as a finisher has won both the admiration of the fans as well as his fellow athletes. Last February, he vindicated himself as the No.1 MMA bantamweight in the world by forcing John Lineker - the former divisional king - to quit on the stool.

Truthfully, his victories are a credit to his perseverance and no-quit mentality.

Fans are therefore looking forward to witnessing another classic brawl between champions on November 3 in Thailand, which will be aired live and for free via Amazon Prime Video in North America.
