Tye Ruotolo says he’ll tune in to Jonathan Haggerty vs. Fabricio Andrade right after his own world title fight: “I’m excited”

Tye Ruotolo is excited to watch the champion vs. champion showdown between Jonathan Haggerty and Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 16.

Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok on November 3, ONE Championship will deliver not one, but two epic world title fights, including a dream match pitting reigning ONE world champions Jonathan Haggerty and Fabricio Andrade against one another for the opportunity to become the new bantamweight kickboxing world champion.

But before Haggerty and Andrade meet inside the Mecca of Muay Thai, submission superstar Tye Ruotolo will have the opportunity to make history as he meets Russian standout Magomed Abdulkadirov, with the winner emerging as the first-ever ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion.

Speaking with The MMA Superfan ahead of fight night, Tye Ruotolo confirmed that he be tuning into the ONE Fight Night 16 headliner once he takes care of some business inside the Circle.

“Yeah, I'll, definitely make sure [I’ll be there to watch it],” Ruotolo said. “It's after my match, so I'll definitely make sure to get in the back and watch it after. Man, I’m excited.”

Tye Ruotolo goes into his bout on a four-fight undefeated streak under the ONE Championship banner, including victories over Garry Tonon, Marat Gafurov, Reinier de Ridder, and Dagi Arslanaliev.

In his next outing, Ruotolo will attempt to add two-time UWW grappling world champion Magomed Abdulkadirov to his hit list and join his brother, Kade Ruotolo, who already reigns as the ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion.
