UFC middleweight Derek Brunson has chimed in on Jake Paul's new multi-year deal with the fight promotion PFL.
Brunson took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the matter and complimented 'The Problem Child' on the deal as well as on the video uploaded by Paul on social media.
"Jake Paul’s PFL video & signing is kinda fire, if we're being honest," wrote Derek Brunson.
Brunson was not the only fighter to chime in on the news. Several other MMA athletes shared their reactions to Paul's deal on social media.
Several fighters like Shane Burgos, Deron Winn and former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis have expressed interest in fighting the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
"Hey PFL, I’m a free agent. I wouldn’t mind welcoming Jake Paul into the MMA world. But let’s be real. He’d never take this fight, even tho I’m like the shortest middleweight in history. Should be a manageable W for him!" wrote Deron Winn.
After going 6-0 as a professional boxer, Jake Paul will make his MMA debut with the PFL, as per the new deal signed with the promotion. 'The Problem Child' will also introduce a 'superfight' division which will consist of prominent fighters who can garner pay-per-view buys from the public.
Although no official date or date has been announced, many will be glued to their seats when the 25-year-old makes his debut in the sport.

While announcing his new deal with the PFL on social media, Jake Paul also called out UFC superstar Nate Diaz.
Paul offered the Stockton native a two-fight deal where the two would first share a boxing ring and then, six months later, compete in an MMA match.
"I'm so dedicated to this that I offered nate Diaz a two-fight deal: first, we box, then six months later, we fight MMA in the PFL smartcage and lay it all on the line. If that's not b*lls, then I don't know what is. Nate Diaz, I'm down to fight you in your own damn sport. It's a two-fight deal, let's make it happen."
UFC lightweight Renato Moicano weighed in on the potential matchup. In a tweet, the Brazilian claimed that it would be easier for 'The Problem Child' to defeat Diaz in an MMA fight than for the Stockton native to emerge victorious in a boxing match against Paul.
