Rod Christopher Godwin Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2024 NFL season. The Buccaneers drafted him with the 84th pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Godwin won Super Bowl LV during the 2020 season, made the Pro Bowl, and was named a Second-team All-Pro in 2019. In Week 7, 2024, against the Baltimore Ravens, Godwin suffered an ankle dislocation and is placed on injured reserve, as of December 2024. As of Week 7, 2024, Godwin has 579 receptions, 7,266 receiving yards, and 39 receiving touchdowns.

Godwin attended Middletown High School in Middletown, where he began his football career. After finishing his high school years, he was ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, ESPN, and 247Sports.com. He played college football at Pennsylvania State University, where he played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2014 to 2016. According to Sports Reference, he recorded 154 receptions for 2,421 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He was also named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2014 and earned Third-team All-Big Ten honors in 2016.

In the 2020 NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers, Godwin had five receptions for 110 receiving yards and six rushing yards, as the Buccaneers won 31–26 to reach Super Bowl LV. In the Super Bowl, he recorded two receptions for nine yards in a 31–9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
