The Packers’ cornerback, Jaire Alexander has long been considered one of the elite cornerbacks in the league. During the draft, he was selected by the Packers, and since then, he has remained with the team.

During the 2018 NFL Combine, Alexander recorded an official time of 4.38 seconds to complete the 40-yard dash, showcasing impressive speed. He finished in sixth place among cornerbacks.

Additionally, he participated in and completed all the combine and positional drills. He recorded a vertical jump of 35 inches (0.89 meters) and a broad jump of 10 feet 7 inches (3.23 meters). Taking into account his performance during the combine, he was projected to be a first-round pick by experts and analysts. Furthermore, NFL analyst Mike Mayock ranked him as the top cornerback prospect, and he was ranked third-best cornerback by Draft Scout.

As projected, he was selected as the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Packers. Subsequently, he signed a fully guaranteed four-year rookie contract with the team valued at $12,050,687, inclusive of a signing bonus of $6,844,168 and an average annual salary of $3,012,672. He was extended in 2022 to be with the team for four more years. His contract gives him an average of $21 million.
