Mike Vrabel is a professional American football head coach for the New England Patriots. He has been coaching in the National Football League since 2011. Before joining New England, his last stint came with the Cleveland Browns, where he was a coaching and personal consultant. Mike Vrabel was born on August 14, 1975, and he lived in Akron, Ohio. As of January 2025, he is 49 years old. In his coaching career, he has guided and elevated many teams like Ohio State, the Houston Texans, and the Tennessee Titans.

He also played football in the National Football League before his journey as a coach began for over a decade. In 1997, Vrabel started playing when the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him. In 2001, he joined the New England Patriots as a free agent. As a player, he played in Super Bowl XXXIV where the New England Patriots beat the St. Louis Rams by a score of 20-17. He scored a receiving touchdown in consecutive Super Bowls one in Super Bowl XXXVIII, and the other in Super Bowl XXXIX. In 2009, the Patriots traded Vrabel to the Kansas City Chiefs, and in 2010, Vrabel announced his retirement as a football player.

Mike and Jen Vrabel got married in 1999 and have two beautiful children together. Like her husband, Jen Vrabel has a background in sports. She is a former volleyball player. The couple met on the campus during their Ohio State days. Jen used to work as a dental hygienist. Mike and Jen have been together for over 25 years as of January 2025 (via Pro Football network).

Mike Vrabel and Jen Vrabel have two sons. The names of their sons are Tyler and Carter (via Pro Football Network). Tyler played college football for the Boston College Eagles football team at Boston College. After playing with them for 4 years he declared himself for the 2022 NFL draft but went undrafted. Tyler was later signed by the Atlanta Falcons. He was placed on the reserve/retired list by the Falcons on July 30, 2024.

On the other hand, Carter has attended three colleges: Tennessee Tech University, Wabash Valley College, and Volunteer State Community College. He plays baseball (via Pro Football Network).
