Nate Wiggins played his college football for the Clemson Tigers and was the cornerback for the team. He started his college football career in 2021 and played for three seasons before declaring for the NFL draft.

In his true freshman season with the Clemson Tigers, he played in four games and had 2 total tackles and 2 passes defended. Wiggins saw limited playing time in his freshman season and also struggled with off-the-field issues. Their head coach, William “Dabo” Swinney, went as far as to call him “Immature.” In the 2022 ACC Championship game, Wiggins also recorded a 98-yard pick-six, which is the longest in ACC championship history. For his efforts in the 2023 season, Wiggins was named to the First-team All-ACC in 2023.

Wiggins attended the NFL Combine in March of 2024 and he put on an absolute show. Wiggins clocked his 40-yard dash at a blazing 4.28 seconds! He is one fast man as that is the best time that was posted in the 2024 Combine. According to sportsillustrated.com, Wiggins was not satisfied with his 40-time and stated that he could go even faster than what he posted. Unfortunately, Wiggins suffered a hip flexor injury immediately after running the 40-yard dash.
