News on Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry & more

News on Rey & Henry: Rey Mysterio was at RAW (02 July 2012) but was not used.Rey was eligible to return last week, but they pushed his return back to this week but for some reason it has been delayed again. Rey should be returning imminently, but is still not being advertised for any WWE events. It’s still possible that Rey will qualify for Money in the Bank this week.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE is holding of his return, as well as Mark Henry’s, until the 1000th episode of RAW on July 23rd. Mark Henry gave an update on his health this morning, writing, “”Twitter family I’m good! Healing at a fast rate. Not out of the woods yet!”

Wade Barrett Ready to Return: Wade Barrett is ready to return to action and WWE officials are working on how they want to bring him back. Barrett was in line for a major push before he went down with injury several months ago and sources report that he will get that push when he returns.

No word yet if Barrett will be at Money in the Bank, but the talk a few months back was that he may win the match and then challenge for the World Heavyweight Title.

While away with injury, Barrett filmed a role in WWE Studios’ Dead Man Down with Colin Farrell. The movie comes out in time for WrestleMania 29 next year.

What Happened after Raw? : The dark main event after WWE RAW Supershow (02 July 2012) in Laredo, Texas saw John Cena defeat Big Show and Tensai. Cena hit Show for the Attitude Adjustment, after Show laid out Tensai on accident. John Laurinaitis came down after the match with a chair and hit Cena with it. Cena blocked the second shot and hit the AA on Laurinaitis to end the show.

WWE Cancels Tapings: WWE has issued the following:

WWE® CANCELS SMACKDOWN® EVENT ON JULY 10 AT WORLD ARENA

STAMFORD, Conn., July 3, 2012 – Due to the Waldo Canyon fire, WWE (NYSE: WWE) SmackDown on Tuesday, July 10 at World Arena in Colorado Springs has been cancelled.

To offer support to those families affected by the wildfires, WWE will be donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross, which is assisting in local relief efforts.

On Monday, July 9, the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO will host both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown
