"That’s a hard NO"- WWE fans firmly against the idea of top star undergoing appearance change ahead of reported heel turn

WWE has never been shy of changing the names and appearances of superstars in order to suit their character changes. While it has worked in some cases, fans have not been too pleased with other changes. That was the case when many voiced their disagreement with the possibility of Bianca Belair's pony getting cut off ahead of a potential heel turn.

The EST of WWE has been unstoppable over the last year and a half. She recently surpassed Becky Lynch's record reign as the RAW Women's Champion. While Belair has been flourishing as a babyface, a recent report noted that there are plans to turn her heel this summer. It was also added that The Street Profits could also embrace their villainous side along with Bianca.

After the reports of her heel turn surfaced online, there were some speculations that Belair could undergo a major appearance change which may include cutting off her iconic ponytail. While fans were divided on the idea of a heel turn, they were quick to shut down a possible appearance change.

Bianca Belair will be in action at WWE Night of Champions

Bianca Belair recently became the longest-reigning RAW Women's Champion, surpassing Becky Lynch's record. However, her celebrations were cut short by Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow sprayed the mist on The EST to reignite their rivalry from the WrestleMania season. The duo is once again slated to settle their differences inside the squared circle as they will face off at Night of Champion on May 27.

Belair is coming fresh off of a victory over Damage CTRL's IYO SKY. The two women put on an excellent match at Backlash, but in the end, The EST of WWE was able to reign supreme once again.

The bout also received praise from former WWE personality Freddie Prinze Jr., who had to say the following:

"Let me tell you right now, they burnt the house down in the very first match. The two women — and the crowd is not equally responsible — but they played a huge part in this match. I didn't think I would love the match as much as I did. This was, from jump street, these girls owned the crowd. The crowd felt like they were part of the match. IYO let them know that their love was appreciated. But she didn't do it in an, 'aw, shucks,' kind of way, she did it like, 'Yeah, that's right, I'm bada**, and you know it.'"

Bianca Belair is also closing in on Trish Stratus' 434-day run as the Women's Champion and could achieve the feat if she manages to get a victory over Asuka at WWE's upcoming PLE.
