The build-up to WWE Clash of Champions continued on this week's RAW and SmackDown. The event will be emanating from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC on the 15th of September.

This week on RAW we saw several unexpected events, including 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt's return where he attacked Jerry 'The King' Lawler on the King's Court. Moreover, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins won the RAW Tag Team titles, when everyone actually waited for The Monster Among Men to face AJ Styles for the United States Championship, which did not end in the way we expected.

The following night on SmackDown, Daniel Bryan finally revealed Roman Reigns' mystery attacker. Moreover, Kevin Owens was surprisingly eliminated in the first round of the King Of The Ring Tournament, due to an unexpected appearance by special guest referee Shane McMahon. Charlotte Flair also challenged Bayley to a SmackDown Women's Championship match, which is now confirmed to take place at the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view.

Earlier, we predicted five matches which could happen at WWE Clash Of Champions 2019. In this article, let's take a look at four more matches which could be added to the WWE Clash Of Champions match-card.

#4 The New Day vs. The Revival - SmackDown Tag Team Championship

The New Day won their sixth Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules back in July. However, they haven't done much since then. Xavier Woods and Big E defended it at all since winning the titles. Surprisingly, they were not even a part of the SummerSlam card.

Now that the pay-per-view of champions, WWE Clash Of Champions, is coming up, it looks like WWE finally decided to do something with them.

The Revival teamed up with Randy Orton to face The New Day in a six-man tag team match on SmackDown last week. Scott Dawson of The Revival, pinned Xavier Woods of The New Day, and picked up a victory for his team.

This week on SmackDown, The Revival challenged The New Day to a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match in the future. The future doesn't look far away, and it looks like it may be as near as the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view next month.

#3 Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon

Just when we thought that Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon were done with each other, McMahon once again did something which Owens won't let go of easily.

Owens faced McMahon at WWE SummerSlam a couple of weeks ago. Owens was surprised when Shane called out Elias as the second referee during the match. Elias tried his best to cost Owens the match, but unfortunately, he failed - and got a vicious beat-down through a steel chair from Kevin Owens.

However, Owens wasn't done there. He decided to give McMahon a taste of his own medicine, and hit him with a low-blow to win the match, saving his career.

On the following episode of SmackDown Live, McMahon fined Owens $100,000 for attacking Elias, as he was working as an official during their match at 'The Biggest Party of the Summer'. Owens thought that the fine was pretty heavy, and did everything he could to get it lifted.

The Prizefighter went to McMahon this week on SmackDown, and apologized to him for attacking Elias, after which the fine was lifted. However, McMahon decided to continue his rivalry with Owens to avenge his loss at SummerSlam.

Kevin Owens faced off against Elias at this week's SmackDown in the first round of the King Of The Ring Tournament. Just when he was closing in on a victory, McMahon made a surprise appearance as a guest referee during the match, and cost Owens the match which he almost won.

Although Owens decided to forget what he was holding against McMahon, he won't forget that the boss's son cost him one of the biggest opportunities in his pro wrestling career. The former Universal Champion will be very frustrated and will surely come back with something major to teach McMahon a lesson.

This feud looks like it will lead to another match between the two at WWE Clash Of Champions next month. However, we could see a twist like Elias being added to the match in some way.

#2 Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn) vs. The Miz - Intercontinental Championship match

Nakamura vs. The Miz

Another champion WWE almost forgot up until this week was WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. The Artist won his first Intercontinental Championship at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in an impromptu match against Finn Balor.

Just after his win, he started a feud with Ali. Ali pinned him at an episode of SmackDown, which led to rumors of a potential match between Ali and Nakamura for the title at SummerSlam, earlier this month. However, the plan was scrapped before the event.

The Intercontinental Champion finally returned to TV this week on SmackDown Live, and surprisingly, he brought an ally with him - former NXT Champion Sami Zayn. Nakamura going off TV for a few weeks may have finally done something good for him, as now Zayn, one of the greatest workers on the mic, will do the talking for him.

The Artist, in his first appearance with his new manager, made a bold statement, and beat down The Miz on Miz TV at this week's episode of the blue brand. We can expect The A-Lister to come back with a revenge on the Japanese wrestler next week.

This feud is most probably going to lead to a match between Nakamura and The Miz for the Intercontinental title at the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view next month. The Miz feuding with Nakamura for the title is going to be an intriguing rivalry. The Awesome One himself elevated the status of the Intercontinental Championship when he held it, and now he can help The Artist in doing the same by feuding with him.

#1 Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan (with Rowan)

Roman Reigns had been attacked by a mysterious personality twice over the past month. First, someone tried to bury him with a forklift. When that failed, he tried to run over Reigns with a car. Whenever The Big Dog got close to finding out the culprit behind the attacks, the storyline took another turn.

Buddy Murphy alleged Rowan for the attacks on Reigns, but Daniel Bryan and Rowan proved Murphy wrong. After weeks of searching, Daniel Bryan finally brought the culprit in front of Reigns at SmackDown Live this week. The WWE Universe was surprised to see the person, as it was someone who they had never seen before.

One thing which looks pretty suspicious is that the attacker Bryan brought had an uncanny resemblance with Rowan. This leads us to think that Bryan just brought him to hide the identity of the real attacker, who is indeed Rowan. According to several reports over the past month, WWE is planning a match between Reigns and Bryan in the future.

One way or another, Reigns will soon find the actual culprit behind the attacks. WWE hasn't dragged the storyline between Reigns and Bryan too long for nothing. It will definitely lead to a point where the two settle it all inside the ring.
