RAW Legends Night certainly lived up to the expectations by delivering a memorable show which blended nostalgia and storyline developments in the perfect measure. Several legends like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Big Show, and more marked their presence and ensured it was a night the fans won't forget anytime soon.

RAW had more than two shocking victories that surprised the viewers, while Randy Orton went on a hunt for legends throughout the show. On the other hand, several contenders for championships emerged, and the WWE Championship match had a predictable outcome, but the post-match developments have sent reverberations across the WWE Universe.

So without any further delays, let's dive and check out all the developments from RAW that have gotten the fans buzzing and guessing about the future. Do share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.

#5 Drew McIntyre defeats Keith Lee on RAW, challenged by returning legend at Royal Rumble 2021

With several legends sitting at the ringside witnessing the action on RAW, these two had an enormous task ahead of them to put up a worthy contest. As expected, Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee had a terrific bout for the WWE Championship. These two are elite-level performers, and they rose to the occasion to have a memorable clash.

McIntyre coming on top was a predictable outcome, but we cannot discount what Lee achieved here. After reports of him being sent back to the Performance Center emerged, everyone expected Lee to be pushed down the card. His performance today made it clear he deserves to be on top.

However, the post-match developments on RAW shaken up the WWE Universe. Goldberg made his way to the ring and laid down a challenge to the champion for a match at Royal Rumble 2021. It was an utterly shocking return as he was expected to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Though those plans can still materialize, McIntyre is now staring at the biggest challenge of his career.

If there's anyone who can bring out a good match from Goldberg at this stage of his career, it is The Scottish Psychopath. WWE should be wise enough to let McIntyre defeat Goldberg at the pay-per-view and not the other way around to build towards a healthy future.

#4 Randy Orton defeats a legend, verbally attack others on RAW

First things first, Randy Orton made it clear he didn't set Alexa Bliss on fire on last week's RAW, and he hates himself for not having the guts to do that. However, as the night progressed, The Viper verbally attacked several legends. From Big Show to Ric Flair to Mark Henry, all of them had to face the wrath of The Legend Killer. During his interaction with Mark Henry, he also announced himself as an entrant in the Royal Rumble match.

This development possibly rules out the reported Firefly Fun House match pitting Orton against The Fiend at the pay-per-view. Later on RAW, The Viper defeated Jeff Hardy after assaulting him throughout the match. It also included a call-back to their gruesome Hell in a Cell in 2018 when Orton pulled Hardy's ear holes.

Though there's considerable momentum on his side, it's hard to imagine walking out of the Rumble as the winner. As for Alexa Bliss and The Fiend, they were nowhere to be seen here on RAW. It will be intriguing to see if the story continues or is put on hold until the Rumble.

#3 Charlotte Flair berates her father, Ric Flair, after being pinned by Peyton Royce on RAW

The tag match on RAW pitting the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair and Asuka vs. Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans had a fairly predictable outcome on paper. Nobody would have expected the duo of Royce and Evans to come up victorious against the decorated women. However, in a genuinely shocking development, the former IIconics member was able to secure a victory for her team by pinning The Queen via a roll-up.

Royce and Evans were successfully able to sideline the RAW Women's Champion Asuka from the action in the ending stages, after which they went onto pull off the upset. Post-match, Evans kissed Ric Flair on the cheek after trying to distract him throughout the match. This angered Charlotte Flair, and she asked her father to stay out of her business.

This development is clearly a way to bring back the heelish side of Charlotte Flair, sooner than later. Given the outcome, a tag-title match is on the cards, and that could be the night when she turns on Asuka and mark the beginning of a feud for the RAW Women's Championship. The involvement of Ric Flair going forward is uncertain at best, considering his old age and the raging pandemic.

#2 Riddle is now all set to challenge Bobby Lashley for the US Championship after defeating him on RAW

In yet another massive upset, Riddle scored a vital victory over the reigning US Champion Bobby Lashley on RAW. The match was a fantastic back and forth contest, with The Original Bro having the upper hand due to his attack on Lashley before the bout officially started.

Considering how dominantly Lashley has been booked in recent months, it was surprising to see him lose on an episode of RAW, albeit via a roll-up. The ending stages of the clash saw Riddle seemingly tapping to the Hurt Lock, but the referee failed to catch it due to being blindsided. It allowed Riddle to accumulate the win, much to the anger of MVP and Lashley.

This development has paved the way for Riddle to get a much-deserved shot at the US Championship at a later date. They have great chemistry together, as seen today, and we can be assured of a crackling encounter. Above that, reports of Lashley being a possible Royal Rumble winner can play a role in determining the outcome of the upcoming clash between the two.

#1 The Miz's losing streak on RAW continues even after gaining back his Money in the Bank briefcase

Last week, The Miz lost to Gran Metalik on RAW. Considering he was no longer the MITB holder, it felt like a stepping stone for Metalik to rise up the card on Monday nights. However, The Miz was granted back his contract after he pointed out a logical loophole in his cash-in at TLC 2020. The match between the two achieved nothing of note, except showcasing the MITB holder as a Superstar who nobody can take seriously as a WWE Champion.

The trend continued this week with The Miz and John Morrison losing a match to The New Day. Though he wasn't pinned here, it wasn't like it was to protect him. It is a baffling booking pattern, and WWE has found themselves in a place from where it is seemingly impossible to reverse this damage.

The only possible way out would be to have The Miz lose his MITB briefcase yet again, but why would the company book him to gain back the contract and lose it back? That's a question instead of an answer, but it's the only takeaway from this development on RAW. There are multiple questions, but hardly any logical solutions.
