5 steps to turn John Cena heel against Daniel Bryan

The WWE fans are always high on their expectations when it comes to the superstars. And one of the most anticipated moments from that expectation list arguably the heel turn on John Cena.Cena has been a face for vast majority of his career and his character without much surprise turned stale for the fans. It is also the main reason why he gets the 50-50 response everywhere he goes. And this type of response is clearly affecting the storylines that Cena is being put into as his opponents are automatically given a face status by the WWE Universe. With so much protest going against Cenas face run, the company should now start thinking about turning Cena heel even if it is for a for a short term. So here is a look at the best way in which WWE could do the same.

#5 Not putting Bray over at Payback

At Payback, Cena will be facing Bray Wyatt in a last man standing match which will probably be the last match between the two in some time.

Many of the fans see this match as a career making bout for Bray Wyatt as a win could mean that he will be over as a top guy in the business. However, a win in the other way will make the fans go wild especially since the match is going to happen in Chicago.

The WWE Universe will know the fact that it was Cena’s ego that stopped Bray from getting the win which means that Cena will be getting a lot of heat from everywhere.

It will be an insult to Bray on one hand but he could pick up well with his segments even if he losses. Cena will now be at the edge after the win with just a poke away from the fans turning on him.

#4 Cashing in the Money in the Bank against Daniel Bryan

After ending his feud with Bray Wyatt in Payback, Cena could go on to earn a spot in the Money in the bank match by defeating some fan favorite. Dolph Ziggler is the most suitable favorite as he is considered as a talented superstar who gets buried all the time.

The qualifying win will give Cena more heat and him going on winning the briefcase will make matter more complicated.

Cena will be seen as a wrestler who steals the show every time and doesn’t give others an opportunity to shine under the limelight. With the briefcase intact with him, Cena could feud with Cesaro for some time.

And at SummerSlam, Cena could cash in the briefcase after Daniel Bryan’s match. This means that Cena will be cashing in the briefcase like a heel by taking the opportunity.

#3 No Hard feelings Bryan

After winning the title, Cena could come out the next night and tell Bryan that he has nothing against Bryan. He could add that he just wanted to get the title back and did the thing that everyone else would do.

The explanation is surely going to turn out as an attempt from Cena’s side to defend his side for the wrong thing he did.

Bryan could also point out that and the two could be booked for a match which will serve as the rematch which Bryan deserves.

Throughout the buildup, Bryan could tell the fans that Cena did the wrong thing by cashing in the contract like that while Cena could defend his side and say the exact opposite.

#2 The Authority involvement

Bryan and Cena could be booked in a match against eachother at some pay-per-view with the fans firmly behind Bryan for this one. Cena however will be still having a fraction of fans cheering for him for sure.

Both Bryan and Cena could work out a great match at whichever pay-per-view they are facing eachother. It will be a fresh match for the fans as well since the two only had a match in SummerSlam last year.

As the match comes near the end, Stephanie McMahon could come out and distract Bryan to gift Cena with the win.

The next night Cena could come and say that he didn’t have anything to do with the Authority’s involvement and offer Bryan the support to take out the Authority at Survivor Series. So in this way the company could have a Team Cena and Bryan vs. Team Authority at Survivor Series to make up for the mess that they made last year.

#1 The Survivor Series Serve

Cena and Bryan could pack up a team including the lights of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins or some other relevant midcarders while Hunter could handpick a team that will represent the Authority. Orton could be given the leadership job of the team as well while Hunter could face Roman Reigns.

The company could book a classic Survivor Series match between the two teams and in the end it could come down to Cena and Bryan in one team while Orton alone on the other.

And as Bryan is about to get the win over Orton, Cena could turn on Bryan and walk out of the match leaving Bryan vulnerable to Orton, thus losing the match.

Next night, Cena could come out and say that he will no longer endorse a B+ player and add that he respects the authority for realizing that.

Cena turning on Bryan and hyping the Authority is going to mark the completion of his heel turn and WWE will be left with a great feud between Bryan and Cena at the horizon with a newly turned Cena.
