WWE Monday Night Raw preview: 16 November, 2015

The all out favorite

Many unanswered questions need to be adressed on RAWThe WWE championship tournament is going to see further advancement at this week's Monday Night Raw.Last week was only the setting of the storyline and this time around, we are going to see some twists and turns in the journey. While this would be one of the major talking points in the latest edition of WWE's flagship show, there are some other interesting storylines that WWE needs to address. With Survivor Series just around the corner, there is a need to fill in the match card as well if the pay-per-view is to turn out to be a successful one. So here is a look at the segments to watch out for in the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.

#5 The Babyface showdowns in Tournament

The all out favorite

The WWE Championship tournament is going to see four matches on Raw and we can split it up into a group of two each.

In the first group, we have the Babyface showdowns. First one will see Cesaro face off against Roman Reigns, whereas Dolph Ziggler will face Dean Ambrose in the second. It is hard to book such matches where the basic dynamics go out of the window, yet WWE has no other choice with so many injured stars on the sidelines.

Roman getting a clean win over Cesaro is the most likely outcome, but it might result in a huge fan backlash. As far as the next match is concerned, Ambrose is the favourite here and it might happen due to the interference of Tyler Breeze.

#4 Charlotte and Paige go at it

Would Paige and Charlotte steal the show?

Charlotte and Paige have drawn the battle lines for their Survivor Series showdown, but WWE is not doing anything big to put the match over.

Paige and Charlotte are two women who have the talent to steal the show at Survivor Series, but they could benefit heavily if the creative gives them some sort of build up ahead of the bout.

Last week, Charlotte ran down to the ring and scared Paige off, but that is the simple booking perks we usually see. Something new needs to be done for the women and if not, it would deliver a big blow to the match that is going to take place on Sunday.

#3 Basic wrestling dynamics

Time to rise up to the occasion

Coming back to the WWE Championship tournament, the second group is made up of two matches which follow the basic heel - baby face dynamics.

Kevin Owens will face Neville in the first match and it is expected to be a stellar outing. Owens and Neville have seen each other numerous times in the independent scene and have portrayed very good chemistry.

Owens is the likely winner here as he can contribute more to the tournament by going forward.

The Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto match is a no brainer as well – when it comes to prediction. They can put together a great sight for the fans, but the chances of the match going beyond that are unlikely.

And the winner? Well, it would be a riot if Alberto Del Rio does not win.

#2 Filling the match card

The tag team divison – Left for last?

Survivor Series is just around the corner and there aren’t many matches added to the card.

WWE has announced a 2 on 2 match between Brothers of Destruction and the Wyatt Family, but there are no substantial details about the same. A Charlotte vs. Paige match is the only other match set for the show when we will also see the addition of the tournament final.

There is no traditional Survivor Series elimination match in the card as things stand now and it is a big headache for the company. They need to put the Tag team champions in the mix as well and book a majority of the mid-card before time runs out.

#1 2 on 2 or 4 on 4

Surprises in store?

The showdown between the Brothers of Destruction and the Wyatt Family was expected to be a four on four affair, but as of now, it might well be a 2 on 2 bout between the Brothers of destruction and the Wyatt Family.

The situation regarding the same is pretty cloudy and WWE needs to settle the dust as soon as possible. There is a lot of heat on Vince McMahon to deliver the goods, as messing up Taker's 25th anniversary is the last thing he would want.

If they are indeed going with a 2 on 2 outing, they should make the opponents of Undertaker and Kane clear during this week's Raw.
