WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: March 24, 2014

The Holiday mood of Sunday is going to be taken over soon by the excitement as the WWE Universe is buckling up their seats for another action packed edition of Monday Night Raw.After what happened last week, everyone is more than eager to know where the company is taking their product to. And with reports saying that the WrestleMania card is still pretty much on the air, the anticipation levels couldnt be any higher. This week the show will be taped by the Barclays Centre in New York and some big names are already confirmed to appear. So here is a look at what all twists and turns we could expect when Raw hits the big apple.

#5 Visitors from Hollywood

Having guests in the WWE is something which usually gets messed up thanks to the idiotic way in which the writers use them.

From the looks of it, we might be heading for something similar this week as Scooby- Doo and Arnold Schwarzenegger is scheduled to be on Raw. Arnold, might sound like a good idea because of the sheer star quality that he brings in but Scooby Doo? Really?

The appearance of Scooby Doo will be a cheap move from the company to promote their new movie and the animated dog is expected to make interaction with most of the wrestlers in the roster. We could only imagine how stupid it will look like.

But it can’t be stopped now and the only thing we could hope for is that Scooby doo doesn’t get tangled with the Undertaker or Bray Wyatt and makes their character look funny rather than intense.

#4 Tag Team Dilemma

Kane booking a four way tag team match to determine the number one contender for the tag titles seemed a legitimate solution to end the chaotic situation in the tag team division.

But the Director of operations had other plans and ended up giving the Real Americans and Rybaxel a shot at the Tag team titles much to the distress of the Usos. The reigning tag team champions now had a target painted on their back and will be busy keeping those titles intact.

It could be two matches or a single match as it stands now and one notable thing that wasn’t acknowledged was the Rhodes Brothers. When the WWE decided to give a team like Rybaxel a shot at the title despite getting a lot of losses, leaving out the former champions wasn’t a money maker.

Injection of the Rhodes Brothers may come in handy to make things a bit more interesting and we could end up seeing the developments of another potential 4-way tag team match, this time for the title.

#3 Phenom and Beast on the Same Stage

The feud between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar has been suffering a lot due to the lack of confrontations that these two men have.

Paul Heyman has been doing a great job to make the fans think that Lesnar’s absence isn’t a big deal but the cracks have started to show up. While the other feuds are thriving with the main characters locking horns in promos, this one remained dead for most of the times making the streak look less worthy

However, WWE has confirmed that Lesnar and Taker will go face to face this week on Raw in an attempt to get back the heat from the fans.

It’s a move that could turn things upside down for everyone and will be a much needed boost for the buildup of the match.

#2 Hounds Hunting the Monster

The director of operations, Kane pulled of a well worked plan on SmackDown to get some revenge on the Hounds of Justice. It gifted the Shield with the start of a potentially money making face run and gave the New Age Outlaws some prominence which they desperately needed.

But the best part: it’s only the start.

Shield will be looking to give Kane a taste of his own medicine on Raw as the battle lines have been clearly drawn. It will be a battle that could steal the show this week.

Kane will be doing everything in his power to make it hell for Shield while the trio will be having eyes behind their back. The ability of the New Age Outlaws to be hate magnets with the microphone comes as an extra add on for the whole thing.

Watch out for Kane and Shield because hell will literally break loose once they collide again.

#1 Revenge of the Flying Goat

Triple H stamped his place as the top heel in the promotion last week after sending a brutal message to Daniel Bryan and his followers. The COO of the company silenced the Yes movements in a vicious way and had Bryan down and out.

A shoulder injury to Bryan added more dimension to the beating up that Triple H delivered last week but the injured warrior will be having his stage this week.

While Hunter unloaded his frustrations of being forced into a WrestleMania match, Bryan and the Yes Movement will be looking to take over Raw once again and send a bigger message to the Authority.

And since Orton and Batista are also involved in this whole picture, it’s going to be utter chaos when everything comes together.

Bryan could rise or take a fall again, it’s hard to predict what might go down as the fans would want him to rise but his fall is what’s best for business.
