WWE Royal Rumble 2015: 5 Superstars that will shine at the Pay-Per-View

TLC wasn’t exactly a pay-per-view where the superstars had a big platform to shine. It was and will always be a ‘B’ grade PPV in front of the WWE fans which made is harder for the roster to make a name for themselves when the show rolled on.However, that is not the case with Royal Rumble. It is one of the biggest stages where a wrestler could make the fans stand up and take notice. And the entire roster would be going into the show with this in some corner of their head.Stealing the limelight in a PPV of such magnitude might not be a cake walk but there are certain names in the current roster that looks set to do the same. So here is a look at those superstars who are going to shine at the Royal Rumble.

#5 Randy Orton

WWE might be foolish enough to keep Orton away during Survivor Series but they are not foolish enough to keep Orton away from Royal Rumble. No matter what opinion the fans have about him Orton is still a big draw in the WWE.

He is an in ring general who could deliver a solid match with whoever he is paired with. The Viper is yet to make his return to the WWE programming but that doesn’t mean he won’t be there at the Rumble.

Rumble will most probably play host to Orton’s first match in nearly two months and when the bell rings, the creative team will make sure that Orton looks strong on his return. There is another possibility of Orton becoming a surprise entrant in the Rumble, and even if that’s the case, he is going to stand out.

#4 Kofi Kingston

If it was any other pay-per-view, Kofi Kingston would’ve not made it into this list but since we are talking about Royal Rumble, it would be unfair to keep him out.

For all the new fans who don’t know why Kofi is in the list, just go around the internet and search for some Kofi Kingston moments in the Royal Rumble. And for the old ones, who know what magic Kofi can create, brace yourself for some more.

It will only last a couple of minutes or less but when Kofi does what he does best, the arena is going to erupt and all eyes will be on him no matter how badly he is pushed by the creative team.

#3 Rusev

Rusev made an impressive appearance at last year’s Royal Rumble and though he might not make it into the battle royal this time around, the Bulgarian Brute is likely to defend his United States Championship at the pay-per-view.

As far as his opponent is concerned, Ryback looks set to be the lucky guy. Ryback has been built up as a monster baby face over the past few months and all that seems to have been for this moment.

Rusev went over some former world champions before this and a win over Ryback will further raise his stock in the company. There is no possibility of Ryback winning cleanly against Rusev and this makes it a good stage for the US champion to shine.

#2 Roman Reigns

Any fan who follows the WWE programming would know that Reigns is going to get a career changing push at the Rumble. Including this name in the list is like stating the most obvious but then again, Reigns is going to shine isn’t he?

From the word that is going around the internet, Reigns is the favorite to win the Rumble. He is apparently the chosen one to defeat Lesnar as well and if that is the case, we are going to see the birth of a new star at Rumble.

Many might not agree with the decision of Reigns getting a push like that due to a variety of reasons but since Vince McMahon believes that Reigns is the perfect package, the obvious is certainly going to happen on January 26.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Why doesn’t Christmas come every day? Because it’s Christmas, it’s mean to be special and so is Brock Lesnar. The beast hasn’t been around WWE programming for nearly three months now and everyone will be eagerly looking forward to how Lesnar would be booked after the hiatus.

The mental image of Lesnar destroying Cena with those German Suplexes at SummerSlam is still fresh in the mind of most fans. The ones who forgot that destruction is going to get a new one to cherish as the beast is almost sure to dominate Cena again.

WWE wouldn’t want their champion to look bad ahead of the WrestleMania season and for that they should put him over big time at the expense of the Cenation leader.
