5 feuds for Baron Corbin

Who will be The Lone Wolf’s next prey?

Baron Corbin just trumpeted his WWE main roster arrival in style by winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania and then proceeded to decimate Dolph Ziggler on Raw. Corbin has fast-tracked his way to the main roster from NXT and it remains to be seen whether he will follow Kevin Owens’ route or become a newer version of Tyler Breeze.

The former offensive lineman for NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals was voted as #86 on PWI’s greatest singles wrestlers of 2015 as well. In addition to his wrestling and football career, Corbin is a former amateur boxer too having been a two-time amateur Kansas- Missouri Golden Gloves champion

This list takes a look at five superstars for Corbin to feud with.

1). Kane

The Big Red Machine would be the ideal choice to feud with

The most obvious choice for Corbin to go over is the Big Red Machine, Kane. Corbin won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal by last eliminating Kane and a rivalry is sure to be in order.

While Kane might no longer be able to gain a reaction from the bored crowd, this can be turned into a quick feud with Corbin dominating Kane. This would add legitimacy to Corbin’s main roster push and such a gradual build up to his character would be beneficial in the long run.

Is Corbin vs Kane the greatest draw ever?? Not really – But a squash match for Corbin, Yes!!

2). The BigShow

A battle of giants is always fun to watch (even if Big show is in it)

Another seasoned performer who is struggling to stay relevant in the WWE is the BigShow. People are no longer buying Show dominating opponents and it might be time for him to turn his attention to putting young talent over.

To be fair, BigShow has never failed to do the same – He even volunteered to tap out to a young CM Punk during his ECW days – and a feud with Corbin getting the better of the Giant would build him up for better things in the future.

3). Dolph Ziggler

The “Show Off” can always do what he does best – put people over.

Everybody is trampling up on the unfortunate Show Off and it is really sad to see the best worker in the WWE getting treated as glorified jobber.

Ziggler possesses all the tools to become a main event player and despite the capacity crowd blowing the roof off the arena when he was reluctantly thrust into the main event scene – twice- the WWE seems hell-bent to waste Ziggler’s talents just like they did with the likes of John Morrison and Carlito.

Expect Corbin to bulldoze his way past Ziggler – It’s sad, but that is the way it is going to be.

4). Dean Ambrose

Lock Corbin into the Ambrose Asylum

Another crowd favourite whom WWE seems sure of burying is Dean Ambrose. With his much-anticipated match with Brock Lesnar at ‘Mania turning out to be a farce, Ambrose’s legitimacy has hit a low.

The WWE seems to have no intention to raise him to the levels of his former Shield-mates and Ambrose can find himself relegated to the mid-card yet again – which is exactly the place Corbin will be waiting for.

A feud between these two will surely set fire to the crowd.

5). Kalisto

A way to legitimately establish Corbin – give him a U.S Title reign

WWE Creative is not going to let Kalisto hold on to his United States Championship for a long time, whatever be his popularity with the Mexican fans. This potentially gives Corbin a weak champion to sink his teeth in to and this feud with the former members of the NXT roster is an intriguing one.

Can we see Corbin as the new United States Champion??? Well, if WWE can book Luke Harper to beat Dolph Ziggler for the IC title, this is possible too.
