From the WWE Rumor Mill: Possible leaked Survivor Series poster reveals big special referee 

What's the story?

The WWE Universe is gearing up for another Survivor Series and it's only a matter of time before all of the pieces to the big November pay-per-view's puzzle start getting put in the right place.

But one possible leaked poster for the upcoming pay-per-view event might reveal a big surprise piece to WWE's final plan for Survivor Series where a Superstar is shown sporting a black and white striped referee shirt.

In case you didn't know...

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words and other times there are no words to describe an image. On occasion, WWE's promo posters are just simple graphics which don't reveal too much about an upcoming event.

But other times, WWE likes to put their marquee matches front and centre and this possible leaked poster certainly looks like an illustration of the latter scenario.

The heart of the matter

By the looks of this poster, John Cena is shown between Jinder Mahal and Brock Lesnar in this Survivor Series promotion. There have been rumours which has stated that Cena could be inserted into the main event as a special referee and by the looks of things, that is exactly the direction WWE is going with the main event on November 19th.

You can also see some of the expected participants in the pay-per-view pictured below the featured trio of Superstars.

This assortment along the bottom of the poster features Roman Reigns which gives fans a bigger clue that WWE expects to have "The Big Dog" back and in better health by the big show in Houston.

What's next?

By the looks of things, Survivor Series is going to be a huge event. Not only will it feature Raw vs SmackDown Live all night, but Cena's insertion in the main event might give fans a clearer picture of what's to come at WrestleMania.

After all, Jinder Mahal laid down a pretty serious sounding challenge to Super Cena for WrestleMania 34. If Cena can be blamed for Jinder's loss to Lesnar, it might just give a nice spark to put that feud in motion.

Author's take

John Cena is featured front and centre on this poster as a special referee but Kurt Angle is the person who really catches my eye on this poster.

It's just great to see him in a wrestling singlet on a WWE poster once again. Survivor Series is getting even more exciting with every passing day, that's for sure.
