Carmelo Hayes' real-life girlfriend sends out her reaction following WWE Draft

WWE Superstar Carmelo Hayes' girlfriend recently reacted to the former getting drafted in the first round of WWE Draft 2024. This was none other that Kelani Jordan.

On this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown, many superstars from the developmental brand were drafted to the main roster, which included Hayes, Bron Breakker and Kiana James. Melo was drafted to the blue brand in round one, while Breakker and James were drafted to RAW in round two and four respectively.

Taking to social media, Hayes' real-life girlfriend and current NXT star, Kelani Jordan reacted to the former's major achievement of being drafted to the main roster in the very first round as she emphasized the seriousness of the pick.

"Round One Draft Pick!! (emojis) Making history again!"

Carmelo Hayes had previously discussed who his idols are

SmackDown Superstar Carmelo Hayes had previously opened up about which superstars were his idols.

While speaking in an interview on Sportskeeda Wrestling with Bill Apter, Melo humbly stated that he is still a learner of professional wrestling and that he focused more on the details.

When asked about who were his role models, Hayes named The Rock, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Edge and Rey Mysterio as some of the superstars who inspired him to be better.

"You gotta remember, so I started watching right at the end of the Attitude Era, you know what I mean. But I am, you know, a student of the game, so I pay attention to a lot of stuff. But as far as heroes go, I mean there is so many of 'em. When I started watching, it was The Rock, it was Austin, it was right on the tail end of the Attitude era. Edge, Rey Mysterio, all those guys I guess I'd say are my heroes." [0:52 onwards]

With Carmelo Hayes being drafted to the blue brand, it is to be seen what plans the company has for the superstar.
