A WWE SmackDown star has shared their reaction to AEW President Tony Khan taking a shot at Jinder Mahal ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. SmackDown Superstar Bayley gave her views on the social media scuffle while talking on a podcast.

Jinder Mahal returned to a chorus of boos from angry WWE fans during the Day 1 edition of WWE RAW earlier this month. He was interrupted by The Rock and was hit with a People's Elbow at the end of the segment.

On this past Monday's edition of WWE RAW, Jinder Mahal confronted World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, and it was announced that the two stars would be battling in a title match next Monday night. Tony Khan took to social media to call out a "double standard", and claimed that there was fan outrage when HOOK called out AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

Tony Khan pointed out that Jinder Mahal hasn't won a match since defeating Julius Creed on the January 10, 2023 edition of NXT. Mahal responded by hilariously wondering who HOOK was in a since-deleted post.

Speaking on the latest edition of Gabby AF, Bayley claimed that she enjoyed the social media argument because it showed how much people care about wrestling.

“I just think wrestling is the coolest and the funniest. The best thing about Twitter and wrestling fans, wrestling fans more so than any other sport, just love giving their opinion, and think they’re always right. That’s how they feel. To me, it’s entertaining to watch. It’s also awesome to see people care this much about wrestling," she said.

She added that more attention leads to more income, and stated that Jinder Mahal loves money.

"It makes you want to tune in. If you’re not a WWE fan, ‘Well, now I kind of want to see what they’re going to do,’ or if you’re not a fan of watching Dynamite, you kind of want to tune in to see if they’re going to do something back. It just makes it fun. That’s what we’re all here to do, and it just makes more money [Laughs]. Jinder loves money," she added. [H/T: Ringside News]

Jinder's match against Seth Rollins is scheduled for this Monday night on WWE RAW.
