Popular WWE tag team accepts Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes open challenge ahead of SmackDown

An interesting duo has accepted the open challenge made by Undisputed Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso ahead of WWE SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso captured the Undisputed Tag Team Championships from The Judgment Day this past Saturday night at Fastlane. The unlikely duo used to be bitter enemies, but have put their differences aside to become champions. The Judgment Day's Damian Priest and Finn Balor are scheduled for a rematch for the titles next Monday night on the red brand.

Ahead of tonight's SmackDown, WWE shared a new video featuring Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The two superstars accepted the open challenge to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso tonight for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships.

"Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, we accept the challenge Cody and Main Event Jey, not sure why that is your name. It doesn't make any sense, but we accept because you two are going to go A-Town down under," said Theory and Waller. [00:18 - 00:31]

Rhodes and Uso successfully defended the titles against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the main event of this past Monday's episode of WWE RAW. It will be interesting to see if the duo will be able to survive tonight's Open Challenge and retain against The Judgment Day next week.
