"Truth" - 37-year-old WWE star reveals the status of his faction on RAW

Monday Night RAW is WWE's flagship show

WWE has so many factions at this point. One of them, originally a team of two, has now recruited more members.

Alpha Academy now has Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa. They have been an entertaining entity on Monday nights, according to many viewers. Chad Gable is even widely regarded as the frontrunner to break out from the faction as an independent wrestler.

But Gable seems fine just where he is. The former tag team champion is probably still gunning for Gunther's Intercontinental Championship, but the 37-year-old has the best run of his career on RAW. Earlier today, the Alpha Academy took to social media to acknowledge it:

"Truth," Chad Gable agreed to the fact that Alpha Academy is 'living their best lives'.

While plenty of fans consider Gable a viable candidate to dethrone The Ring General, it seems WWE has other plans. It remains to be seen where Alpha Academy goes from here as a unit.

Chad Gable is impressed with Maxxine Dupri on WWE RAW.

Maxxine Dupri was part of LA Knight's former faction, Maximum Male Models. Neither of them found success until they split, while WWE released the remaining two members, ma.çé and mån.sôör.

Chad Gable spoke about Maxxine's in-ring debut, among other things, during an interview for Cageside Seats. The 37-year-old even went on to claim that it took him so much longer than it is taking her to pick things up:

"She’s [Maxxine Dupri] delivering on every level, you know, physically in what we do and she’s not used to that. So it’s a very unique kind of story in this company. I don’t think we’ve seen it, if we have very rarely, in the past where someone’s legitimately learning on the job," Gable said.

He continued:

"[Learning] how to wrestle in front of that many people and for her to be able to maintain composure and do it with the level of dignity that she is, it blows my mind. I mean, she’s already been through a table. I can’t tell you how long it took me to do that." [H/T: Cageside Seats]

Akira Tozawa, in a similar fashion, could be the next WWE star to gain from joining Alpha Academy. He was floundering before associating with them, but the creative team seems highly impressed by all these stars.
