Backstage details on botch in Becky Lynch’s segment from WWE RAW

It seems last night's segment between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus on WWE RAW didn't exactly go according to plan.

The Man made her surprise return last night on Monday Night RAW during Stratus' promo segment, where the WWE Hall of Famer trolled the audience with a fake arrival for Lynch before The Man made her actual return.

While it seemed like Lynch had a lot to say, it appeared she got cut off at the end of the segment, and things ended rather abruptly. If you thought something didn't go as originally intended, you would be correct.

According to Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, Lynch was cut off before she could really get her promo going. But Sapp was told that wasn't supposed to be a "substantial part" of the promo that would end up hurting the storyline.

With The Man now back on RAW, it will be interesting to see if Lita will too pop up for revenge on Stratus in the weeks ahead.

Becky Lynch's program with Trish Stratus is scheduled to go on for "quite a while"

It seems whatever Becky Lynch was scheduled to say will be done eventually, as Sapp was told that the program between her and Trish Stratus is expected to go on for "quite a while."

Early reports suggested that a dream match between these two women would be held off for SummerSlam.

With only Night of Champions and Money and the Bank scheduled between now and then, there's a good chance WWE will figure out a way to stretch this match out until their second biggest show of the year at Ford Field in Detroit.
