The Minecraft Championship, referred to as MC Championship or simply MCC, is a content creator tournament intended to bring the biggest names in the community together and have them compete for glory and bragging rights. The event takes place over several rounds, each consisting of a minigame. Teams compete for points, and the best team takes the gold at the end.
After a brief hiatus, MCC has made a loud and proud return, announcing both a Season 4 kickoff event and a second larger sponsored event in Twitch Rivals 2.

Many renowned Minecraft YouTubers and streamers are going to be taking part in Minecraft Championship Season 4's kickoff, including several members of the very popular Hermitcraft server. Other notable names include AntVenom, SmallAnt, CaptainSparklez, also a part of the recent Sleep Deprived SMP, and ChilledChaos.

There are two events confirmed for Minecraft Championship Season 4 so far — the MCC Season 4 kickoff event, taking place on May 4, and MCC Twitch Rivals 2. The latter is scheduled for June 30, 2024, 3 pm BST, and will be the 11th non-canon event. It is set to be a main event at TwitchCon Europe 2024: Rotterdam.
