On April 27, 2024, the official X account of My Hero Academia season 7 revealed the final character visual of the sequel's protagonist, Star and Stripe. My Hero Academia season 7 is set to premiere on May 4, 2024, with its first episode.

My Hero Academia is a Shounen series adapting a manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. The manga has received six anime seasons of adaptations, three movie adaptations (with the fourth one to be released in August 2024), and a bunch of OVA specials, all animated by the animation studio Bones.


My Hero Academia season 7 unveils new Star and Stripe visual

The character visual consisted of the protagonist of season 7, Cathleen Bate, more commonly known by her hero name, Star and Stripe. The character visual also added her title of the strongest hero from the United States of America, and the description revealed the release date of the sequel, alongside the voice actress who will be voicing this hero.

Star and Stripe will be voiced by industry professional Park Romi. She started her journey as a voice actress in the late 1980s and became known for her unique voice. Some of her voice-acting roles include Hange from Attack on Titan, Madam Shyarly from One Piece, Temari from Naruto, Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Pakunoda from Hunter x Hunter.

My Hero Academia season 7 episode 1 is set to be released on May 4, 2024. Alongside the seventh sequel, the series' fourth movie is also set to premiere in Japanese cinemas on August 2, 2024. The voice casting from the previous seasons of My Hero Academia is set to make a return for My Hero Academia season 7.

Some of the returning staff members for this sequel include Nagasaki Kenji and Nakayama Naoki as directors, Kuroda Yusuke as the script composer, Hayashi Yuuki as the music composer, Odashima Hitomi and Umakoshi Yoshihiko as character designers, TK from Ling Tosite Sigure as the opening song performer, and Omoinotake as the ending song performer.

Although there has been no official synopsis unveiled as of this article's publication, fans can expect the sequel to be centered around Star and Stripe and her role in the war against the villains of My Hero Academia.

My Hero Academia season 6 adapted the Paranormal Liberation Front arc and the first arc of the final saga of the series, the Dark Deku arc. So, fans can expect its sequel to adapt at least the next two arcs of the series, which will be the Star and Stripe arc, featuring the number 1 hero of the U.S., and the U.A. Traitor arc, featuring the traitor of U.A. High as speculated since the early seasons.
