DeAndre Jordan is an American center who plays for the Denver Nuggets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jordan was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers as the 35th overall pick in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft. Before joining the Nuggets in 2022, he played for the Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jordan's basketball journey began at Episcopal High School and he ended his prep career at Christian Life Center Academy. He attracted offers from Kentucky, Florida, Texas A&M, LSU, and Florida State after the end of his high school career. The 2023 NBA champion joined the Texas A&M Aggies in 2007 before declaring for the 2008 NBA draft.
